WealthWise-Finance-Tracker: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

WealthWise-Finance-Tracker CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from hoangsonww/WealthWise-Finance-Tracker. It costs 2,668 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Project instructions for WealthWise, a personal-finance application organized as a Turborepo monorepo. A monorepo keeps several related applications and shared packages in one code repository, including its API, web app, shared types, AI agents, and data-access server.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when developing or testing WealthWise’s Express API, Next.js website, shared TypeScript schemas, AI agents, MCP server, or context-engineering tools.
Why use it?
They explain the project structure, package names, and standard commands so an agent can work in the correct part of the codebase. This avoids using the wrong test, build, or formatting command.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.02668 $0.02668
Opus 5 $0.01334 $0.01334
Sonnet 5 $0.00534 $0.00534
Haiku 4.5 $0.00267 $0.00267

Measured 10d ago against content hash 5a4a8ee1ecf8, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

WealthWise-Finance-Tracker CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Overview

WealthWise is a full-stack personal finance app built as a Turborepo monorepo with six packages:

  • apps/api - Express 4 REST API (TypeScript, Mongoose, MongoDB)
  • apps/web - Next.js 14 App Router (React 18, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui)
  • packages/shared-types - Zod schemas and inferred TypeScript types
  • mcp - MCP server (43 tools, 6 resources) for AI agent data access
  • agentic-ai - Claude-powered AI agents (orchestrator + 4 specialists)
  • context-engineering - Knowledge graph, knowledge base, context engine, and D3 visualization UI

Package Names

When filtering with Turborepo, use the name field from each package.json:

  • @wealthwise/api
  • @wealthwise/web
  • @wealthwise/shared-types
  • @wealthwise/mcp
  • @wealthwise/agentic-ai
  • @wealthwise/context-engineering

File Conventions

API (apps/api/src/)

  • Routes define URL mapping + Swagger JSDoc. No logic.
  • Controllers parse request, call one service method, return response. No business logic.
  • Services contain all business logic and database queries. Every query filters by userId.
  • Models are Mongoose schemas. Indexes are defined in the schema, not in migrations.
  • Middleware is applied in app.ts in a specific order - auth, then validate, then handler.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
