Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00507 | $0.00507 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00253 | $0.00253 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00101 | $0.00101 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00051 | $0.00051 |
Grade A, and why
paseo-skins AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 30 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Safety and scope
- Preserve the data-only Theme v2 boundary and the reversible CDP lifecycle.
- Never patch
Paseo.app,app.asar, signatures, daemon state, or Agent data. - Keep CDP loopback-only and preserve exact target/WebSocket validation.
- Do not hide or replace
#root; injected visual layers must stay non-interactive. - Do not commit
tmp/,_site/, local screenshots, or personal themes underassets/. - Do not copy third-party theme source code. Public package images may only enter through a verified data-only adapter that preserves the source terms and hashes; every public visual file requires
ASSET_PROVENANCE.mdevidence.
Implementation guidance
- Keep parsing/help logic pure in
src/cli-options.mjsandsrc/cli-help.mjs; keep system I/O insrc/cli.mjsor the owning subsystem. - Keep theme validation in
src/theme-loader.mjs; website and remote flows must not invent weaker parallel validators. src/stage-black-gold-skin.mjsis intentionally self-contained because it is serialized with.toString()into the renderer. Split only code that does not need to execute there.- Interactive hover/selected visuals belong to CSS state, never persistent inline computed colors.
- Renderer text contrast, auxiliary layers, cold injection, and SPA navigation rules are defined in
docs/RENDERER_STYLE_SAFETY.md; use the project audit instead of one-off DOM probes. - Prefer focused changes over abstractions without a second real use case.
Verification
- Run targeted tests while developing, then
npm run checkandnpm run release:checkbefore handoff. - Renderer changes also require live
status,verify, a screenshot, and a hover-in/hover-out check in Paseo. - Run
npm run audit:renderer -- --port 9224for renderer changes with Paseo visible and foregrounded; review every failure and confirm the original route was restored. - Website changes require desktop and 390 px real-browser checks; inspect screenshots rather than relying only on DOM assertions.
- A sub-agent report or successful build is input, not final verification. Review the diff and evidence directly.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
