Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00637 | $0.00637 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00318 | $0.00318 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00127 | $0.00127 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00064 | $0.00064 |
Grade A, and why
K-invest CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 38 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

What this is
K-invest: read-only investment data MCP server (FastMCP, Streamable HTTP) aggregating
Toss Securities, KIS, SEC EDGAR, yfinance, Binance USD-M Futures, and optional
margin-ta technical analysis. Binds 127.0.0.1:8100; exposed via reverse proxy with
static Bearer auth (MCP_AUTH_TOKEN).
Commands
python3 -m pytest tests/ # run all tests
python3 -m pytest tests/test_toss_accounts.py -k name # single file / single test
ruff check . # lint
ruff format . # format
python3 server.py # run locally (binds 127.0.0.1:8100)
Dependencies: pip install -r requirements.txt (or pip install -e .).
Architecture
server.pyis the single entry point: FastMCP app,StaticTokenVerifierbearer auth, and all@mcp.tool()definitions (~40 read-only tools). Provider clients are lazy singletons via_get_toss(),_get_kis(),_get_sec(),_get_yf(),_get_mt(),_get_binance().- One module per provider:
toss_api.py,kis_api.py,sec_api.py(+sec_insider/ttm/segments/quality/derived.py),yfinance_api.py(+yfinance_metrics/consensus.py),binance_futures_api.py,margin_ta_runner.py(optional subprocess wrapper,MARGIN_TA_HOME). Shared helpers inkinvest_common.py(NotConfiguredError,cache_dir(), env-file loaders). - Envelope contract: every tool returns
{ok, data, error, meta}via_ok()/_fail()in server.py — never raw payloads or JSON strings. Errors carrycode, message, provider, retryable; unconfigured providers yield*_NOT_CONFIGURED. - READ-ONLY invariant: never add order create/modify/cancel tools or expose credentials in responses.
- Quotes from different providers legitimately differ (exchange, session, delay) — composite tools must carry provider/session warnings rather than reconcile prices.
- LLM-friendliness:
Literalenums for params,detail_level="summary"|"full"defaults to summary, percentage fields suffixed_pct, period fields disambiguate FY/TTM/quarter.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

K-invest CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository ianlyoo/K-invest (1 stars, last pushed 14d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 637 tokens to every session, about $0.0032 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
