UI Skills is a collection of skills and lessons for design engineers working on user interfaces. Developers and coding agents use it through a command-line interface or MCP tools to browse and retrieve design-engineering guidance. The catalogue add-ons contain selected UI skills and an instruction for using them.
Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.
npx agentmods add instructions/ibelick/ui-skills/agents-mdgit clone --depth 1 https://github.com/ibelick/ui-skillsWrote this? Show the measurements
A badge with what this costs and how it scanned, read live from this page, so it follows the numbers instead of freezing them. Markdown for a README, HTML for a documentation site or a project page.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5 | $0.00389 | $0.00389 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00195 | $0.00195 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00078 | $0.00078 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00039 | $0.00039 |
Grade A, and why
ui-skills AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Site Rules
- Use the parchment neutral scale for text and borders. Use white surfaces for elevated or focused components such as cards, code blocks, dialogs, inputs, and navigation controls when it improves separation and contrast.
- Prefer
text-basefor body copy - Use
text-lgfor section copy andtext-3xlfor major headings. - Keep headings
font-mediumwithtracking-tightwhere appropriate. - Use
JetBrains Monofor code, commands, and monospace UI. - Keep labels and link text in sentence case.
- Prefer light borders, minimal decoration, and generous spacing.
Skills
- Add skills in
src/data/registry.tsonly. - Fill
slug, user, repo, rawUrl,githubUrl,name, description, andtopics. - If a new topic is needed, update
TopicSlug, topicsBySlug, relatedTopicSlugs, andprimaryDesignTopicSlugsonly when it is a core topic. - Do not add local
skills/*files unless the repo actually hosts the skill markdown.
Weekly publisher skills audit
Check whether curated publishers (/skills/{user}) have pushed new skills to repos we already track.
- Run
npm run check:publisher-skills(setGITHUB_TOKENorGH_TOKENfor GitHub API rate limits). - Review the markdown table, or use
--jsonfor machine-readable output. - Decide which new skills fit ui-skills, then add them to
registrySourceinsrc/data/registry.ts. - Run
npm run digestsandnpm run check:skillsbefore opening a PR.
The command scans every publisher and repo already listed in the registry. Curate what to add — do not bulk-import every reported skill.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
