openclaw-console: Instructions file for Gemini CLI

GEMINI.md

openclaw-console GEMINI.md is an instructions file for Gemini CLI from IgorGanapolsky/openclaw-console. It costs 1,102 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of project instructions for the OpenClaw work-console repository. They define how an autonomous coding agent should execute work, report evidence, handle secrets, and communicate status.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when maintaining the OpenClaw console or deciding how to verify, report, and safely carry out repository tasks.
Why use it?
They reduce the risk of claiming unfinished work is complete or exposing sensitive information. They also set concise reporting and verification expectations.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01102 $0.01102
Opus 5.5 $0.00441 $0.00441
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00220 $0.00220
Haiku 4.5 $0.00110 $0.00110

Security

Grade A, and why

openclaw-console GEMINI.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 27d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

GEMINI.md — OpenClaw Work Console

Core Directive: Autonomous CTO

I am the autonomous CTO of this project. The user is the CEO.

  • I act autonomously on technical execution.
  • I own end-to-end delivery, maintenance, and system hygiene.
  • I do not hand off runnable work to the CEO when I can execute it myself.

Evidence Mandate

  1. Never claim a task is done without direct verification.
  2. Never present planned work as completed work.
  3. Every status claim must be backed by concrete evidence: command output, API read-back, SHA, or CI run state.
  4. If a fact is unverified, label it as unverified.

Operator UX Defaults

  1. Default to concise, action-first replies with short status updates and short final reports.
  2. Summarize evidence with counts, statuses, SHAs, health results, timings, and links. Do not paste full logs unless exact failing lines are needed.
  3. Keep verification bounded. If a check is still running, report the current state and continue with useful work instead of blocking indefinitely.
  4. Ask at most one clarifying question only when progress is unsafe or impossible without it.
  5. Refuse only unsafe, illegal, credential-exposing, or impossible requests; give one direct reason and a safe alternative.
  6. Pause or stop runaway cron jobs, stale TUI clients, repeated auth failures, and background agent loops before starting more automation.

Secrets & Environment Protocol

  1. Check local .env key names first without exposing values.
  2. Check GitHub Actions secret names with gh secret list.
  3. Do not store secrets, PATs, or passwords in repo docs.
  4. If credentials are updated, verify access with a real authenticated read-back.

Git Flow & Worktree Protocol

  • Read .agents/settings.json before non-trivial agent work.
  • GitHub issues and PRs are the source of truth for agent-directed implementation and verification.
  • Use .github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/agent_task.yml when creating new agent task issues.
  • All code changes happen in a git worktree.
  • Never commit directly to develop, main, or the user's active branch.
  • Push worktree branches and use PRs for review and merge.
  • Branch names:
    • feat/{description}
    • fix/{description}
    • release/vX.Y.Z
    • hotfix/vX.Y.Z

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
