A project instruction file for Claude Code that sets rules for the autopus-adk harness, including which project rules to follow and which languages to use for comments, commits, and replies.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to control agent behavior, language choices, and rule loading in an autopus-adk project.
Why use it?
It gives the coding agent consistent project-specific guidance and prevents instructions from parent folders from taking precedence.

Written for Claude Code: the file is CLAUDE.md. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions CLAUDE.md; mentions subagents.

This is Insajin/autopus-adk's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on autopus-adk itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything autopus-adk configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00542 $0.00542
Opus 5 $0.00271 $0.00271
Sonnet 5 $0.00108 $0.00108
Haiku 4.5 $0.00054 $0.00054

Security

Grade A, and why

autopus-adk CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Rule Isolation

IMPORTANT: This project uses this directory's Autopus-ADK instructions ONLY. You MUST ignore any Autopus or non-Autopus rules loaded from parent directories, and any parent Autopus-generated CLAUDE.md guidance is lower priority than this project's instructions.

Language Policy

IMPORTANT: Follow these language settings for all work in this project. They are prompt instructions, not a mechanical gate: no hook, linter, or CI step inspects the language of a comment, commit message, or response, and the pre-commit Lore check validates only the commit type prefix and sign-off trailers. A violation surfaces as a review finding.

  • Code comments: Write all code comments, docstrings, and inline documentation in English (en)
  • Commit messages: Write all git commit messages in Korean (ko)
  • AI responses: Respond to the user in Korean (ko)

Core Guidelines

Subagent Delegation

IMPORTANT: Use subagents for complex tasks that modify 3+ files, span multiple domains, or exceed 200 lines of new code. Define clear scope, provide full context, review output before integrating.

File Size Limit

IMPORTANT: No source code file may exceed 300 lines. Target under 200 lines. Split source code by type, concern, or layer when approaching the limit. SPEC Markdown files under .autopus/specs/** are documentation and exempt from the 300-line source code limit. Excluded: generated files (_generated.go, .pb.go), documentation (.md), and config files (.yaml, *.json).

Code Review

During review, verify:

  • No source code file exceeds 300 lines (REQUIRED)
  • SPEC Markdown files under .autopus/specs/** are not split or rejected for line count alone
  • Complex changes use subagent delegation (SUGGESTED)
  • See .claude/rules/autopus/ for detailed guidelines

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
