gpu-ai-skills CLAUDE.md

gpu-ai-skills CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for coding agents from intel/gpu-ai-skills. It costs 1,541 tokens per session, scanned C, original, Apache-2.0.

A project instruction file for a collection of agent skills that run, benchmark, and profile machine-learning models on Intel GPUs. It explains the repository layout, commands, and validation requirements.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when adding or editing skills for PyTorch, Transformers, vLLM-XPU, or SGLang-XPU on supported Intel GPUs.
Why use it?
It helps contributors change the skills without breaking their structure or skipping required checks.

About the project

Intel GPU AI Skills is a collection of agent skills for setting up, running, benchmarking, and profiling Hugging Face models on Intel GPUs. It supports workflows involving PyTorch, vLLM-XPU, SGLang-XPU, llama.cpp-SYCL, and migration from CUDA to XPU. The catalogue contains the project's skills, instructions, agent, and plugin.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.01541 $0.01541
Opus 5 $0.00771 $0.00771
Sonnet 5 $0.00308 $0.00308
Haiku 4.5 $0.00154 $0.00154

Measured 4d ago against content hash 24e0a1958e10, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade C, and why

gpu-ai-skills CLAUDE.md scanned grade C with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Recursive force deletehighDestructive command

rm -rf with a variable or a broad path is one typo away from removing the wrong tree.

- No `pkill`, `docker rm -f` of unowned containers, `rm -rf` outside workspace

CLAUDE.md

This file provides guidance to Claude Code (claude.ai/code) when working with code in this repository.

What this repository is

A collection of Agent Skills for running, benchmarking, and profiling arbitrary Hugging Face safetensors models on Intel GPUs (Arc, Arc Pro, Battlemage, Data Center GPU Max). Covers PyTorch + Transformers, vLLM-XPU, and SGLang-XPU stacks.

The skills follow the Agent Skills standard and work with any compliant agent (Claude Code, opencode, Cursor, GitHub Copilot CLI, Gemini CLI, Qwen Code, Kimi Code, Hermes Agent, OpenClaw).

Commands

Validation (required before any skill change)

# Run full static validation suite
bash tests/static.sh

# Run repo checker + external skill-validator (if installed)
bash scripts/check-skills.sh

# External validator (optional)
# install: https://github.com/agent-ecosystem/skill-validator

The static gate validates:

  • JSON manifests parse correctly
  • Every SKILL.md has name and description frontmatter
  • Skill name matches parent directory (Agent Skills spec requirement)
  • Python helpers compile
  • Shell scripts parse
  • agents/AGENTS.md is in sync with generator
  • Claude marketplace entries cover every skill

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
