AGENTS.md

pixtuoid AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from IvanWng97/pixtuoid. It costs 4,804 tokens per session, scanned A, a copy of superpowers AGENTS.md, MIT.

A project-specific instruction file for pixtuoid, a terminal-based pixel-art office for AI coding agents. It contains guidance for working in that project.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when working on the pixtuoid codebase and needing to follow its project instructions.
Why use it?
It gives the coding agent project context and rules that may be needed when changing or reviewing the repository.

Instructions file for CodexOpenCode

Written for Codex and OpenCode: the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions CLAUDE.md; mentions subagents.

This is IvanWng97/pixtuoid's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on pixtuoid itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything pixtuoid configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.04804 $0.04804
Opus 5.5 $0.01922 $0.01922
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00961 $0.00961
Haiku 4.5 $0.00480 $0.00480

Security

Grade A, and why

pixtuoid AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 15d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 160 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

AGENTS.md

Instructions for any AI coding agent in this repo. Every agent, Claude Code included (v2.1.277 or later), reads these AGENTS.md files natively; there is deliberately no CLAUDE.md, .claude/CLAUDE.md or CLAUDE.local.md, because any of them switches Claude Code to CLAUDE.md-only. This is the workspace map; per-crate detail lives in the nested guides:

What the guides hold. A nested AGENTS.md says what its crate IS, plus the facts no single declaration can own: cross-file workflows, comment-less manifests, and directory-shape rules. Everything else a change needs — the constraint that looks like a bug, the WHY, the test that pins it — is on the narrowest thing it constrains: read the whole item, its doc comment and the comments on the lines it governs, before changing it.

A third consumer lives outside this repo: homebrew-core's pixtuoid formula asserts exact CLI output (test do) and needs pixtuoid man / completions <shell> on clean stdout — breakage surfaces in THEIR CI on an autobump we never see, while our suite stays green (it asserts the same strings as goldens). The asserted rows are marked "homebrew-core contract" at sources_cli.rs, codewhale.rs; release-side consequences in CONTRIBUTING.md.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
