datasentry: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

datasentry AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from Jackxiaozhiren/datasentry. It costs 562 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A project instruction file describing the rules for working on DataSentry. It covers safety guarantees, required checks, the code layout, testing, benchmarks, and restrictions on automated repairs.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for developing and testing DataSentry’s data detectors, repair tools, connectors, reports, APIs, and command-line interfaces.
Why use it?
It tells the agent which behaviors must never change silently and which quality checks must run after edits. It also requires repairs to remain reviewable, reversible, and free of secrets.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00562 $0.00562
Opus 5.5 $0.00225 $0.00225
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00112 $0.00112
Haiku 4.5 $0.00056 $0.00056

Security

Grade A, and why

datasentry AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 14d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

AGENTS.md — DataSentry Agent 工作契约

新会话 Agent 必读。本文件指向权威源而非复述,避免双写漂移。

1. 六条不变量(红线)

以 CONTRIBUTING.md「Project invariants」六条为准:

  1. 确定性检测不依赖 LLM 可用性;
  2. AI 建议只是提案,不做静默自主变更;
  3. 修复永不覆盖源文件(只写副本 + rollback 工件);
  4. 修复链路保持 previewable + auditable + reversible;
  5. 日志与持久化报告不含 secret/DSN;
  6. 性能声明可复现(方法论文档化,见 docs/BENCHMARKS.md)。

2. 质量门禁(改完必跑)

uv sync
make check # ruff check + format --check + mypy --strict + pytest(覆盖率≥85%)
make demo # 公共 demo 路径
make bench   # 性能基准(1M 行,见 benchmarks/bench_scan.py 预算表)

pyproject.toml 约束:line-length=100, target py312, mypy strict=true。

3. 模块地图

  • packages/core/src/datasentry_core/:detectors / engine / scoring / repair / drift / storage / connectors(csv|parquet|jsonl|xlsx|sqlite|duckdb|postgres|mysql|remote_file) / reporting / privacy / rules / models —— 确定性核心,不引 LLM。

4. Agent 红线

  • 不许跳过测试、降低覆盖率下限、新增 type: ignore / noqa;
  • 一次只修一类,保持最小 diff;修 public API 须给迁移说明;
  • 不许为覆盖率写无效断言,不许静默改行为;
  • 安全相关改动先读 AUDIT/FINDINGS.yaml 对应条目(证据链在该文件);
  • 不代操作 GitHub(评论/关 issue 关 PR 需人类执行)。

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
