Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Grade B, and why
claude-mcp-switch CLAUDE.md scanned grade B with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

.claude/, .codex/, .gemini/ hold keys, settings and other credentials a mod has no legitimate need for.

Project Overview
claude-mcp-switch is a zero-dependency Node.js CLI tool for managing Claude Code MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers. It wraps the claude CLI commands to provide enable/disable functionality while preserving server configurations. Works across macOS, Linux, and Windows platforms.
Development Commands
Running the CLI Locally
# List MCP servers
node ./src/ccmcp.js list
# Enable a server
node ./src/ccmcp.js enable <identifier>
# Disable a server (dry-run)
node ./src/ccmcp.js disable <identifier> --dry-run
# Use custom config path
node ./src/ccmcp.js list --config ~/.claude/settings.json
Testing
The project uses Node.js built-in test runner (Node 18+):
# Run all tests
npm test
# Run unit tests only
npm run test:unit
# Run integration tests only
npm run test:integration
# Watch mode (re-run on file changes)
npm run test:watch
# Coverage report
npm run test:coverage
Test Structure
test/unit/- Unit tests for individual modulesutils.test.js- Utility functions (expandHome, truncate, safeStr, etc.)config.test.js- Config resolution, file I/O, backup/atomic writesschema.test.js- Schema detection, server enumeration, enable/disable logicmatcher.test.js- Identifier matching, Levenshtein distance, suggestionsui.test.js- Color utilities
test/integration/- End-to-end CLI testscli.test.js- Full command execution with temp configs
test/fixtures/- Sample config files for testing
Running Individual Tests
# Run specific test file
node --test test/unit/utils.test.js
# Run specific test suite
node --test test/unit/config.test.js
# Run all tests in a directory (cross-platform)
node --test "test/unit/**/*.test.js"
Publishing
The project uses a GitHub Actions workflow for versioning and publishing:
# Trigger via GitHub UI: Actions > Version and Release > Run workflow
# Choose release type: patch, minor, or major
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
