Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |

| Opus 5.5 | $0.01704 | $0.01704 |

Grade B, and why
basecamp AGENTS.md scanned grade B with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

RTK - Rust Token Killer
In Claude Code, all shell commands are transparently proxied through RTK via a hook. No action needed, RTK runs automatically in the background. In Codex, RTK is instruction-driven rather than hook-driven, so prefix commands with
rtkas these instructions describe.
Usage: Token-optimized CLI proxy (60-90% savings on dev operations)
Meta Commands (always use rtk directly)
rtk gain # Show token savings analytics
rtk gain --history # Show command usage history with savings
rtk discover # Analyze Claude Code history for missed opportunities
rtk proxy <cmd> # Execute raw command without filtering (for debugging)
Installation Verification
rtk --version # Should show: rtk X.Y.Z
rtk gain # Should work (not "command not found")
which rtk # Verify correct binary
Name collision: If rtk gain fails, you may have reachingforthejack/rtk (Rust Type Kit) installed instead.
Hook-Based Usage
All other commands are automatically rewritten by the agent's hook.
Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Copilot, Factory Droid and Mistral Vibe get a hook processor that rewrites commands before they run. Codex works differently: rtk init -g --codex installs instructions into AGENTS.md and RTK.md instead of patching hooks, so the rewriting depends on the agent following those instructions rather than being intercepted. Check what a command becomes with rtk rewrite "git status".
Example: git status → rtk git status (transparent, 0 tokens overhead)
No additional configuration needed.
Karpathy Coding Principles
Behavioral guidelines to reduce common LLM coding mistakes.
Tradeoff: These guidelines bias toward caution over speed. For trivial tasks, use judgment.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

basecamp AGENTS.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository janmaaarc/basecamp (7 stars, last pushed 3d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 4,260 tokens to every session, about $0.0170 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it B with 1 finding (reads agent configuration directories). It is 89% identical to basecamp CLAUDE.md, differing in 174 lines, and is treated as a copy.
