Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00564 | $0.00564 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00282 | $0.00282 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00113 | $0.00113 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00056 | $0.00056 |
Grade A, and why
clanki CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 53 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Testing this server against real Anki
This repo's own server is installed as a local-scope MCP server named clanki,
pointing at build/index.js. Use it to verify changes against a real
collection instead of reasoning about what AnkiConnect would do.
npm run build # the MCP server runs build/index.js, so rebuild before testing
Its tools appear as mcp__clanki__create-card, mcp__clanki__create-deck,
mcp__clanki__create-cloze-card, mcp__clanki__create-cards-bulk,
mcp__clanki__create-cloze-cards-bulk, mcp__clanki__update-card and
mcp__clanki__update-cloze-card. Decks are exposed as a resource
(anki://deck/<name>), not a tool — there is no list-decks.
MCP servers load at session start, so a server installed mid-session is not available until the session restarts. To drive it from a running session, spawn a headless one and pass the tools explicitly:
claude -p "<prompt>" --allowedTools "mcp__clanki__create-card" "mcp__clanki__create-deck"
Tool responses are plain success strings that do not echo stored values, so
they confirm only that the call did not error. To confirm what actually landed
in the collection, query AnkiConnect directly on http://127.0.0.1:8765
(findNotes, then notesInfo) and inspect the fields.
Rules when testing against a live collection:
- Requires Anki running with AnkiConnect; otherwise tools return a connection error rather than the behavior under test.
- Create a throwaway deck, never write to the user's real decks.
- Clean up afterwards:
deleteMediaFilefor generated media (they are namedimage_*/audio_*), thendeleteNotes, thendeleteDecks. - Anki writes to a real collection — ask before creating or deleting anything the user did not ask you to touch.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

clanki CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository jasperket/clanki (41 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 564 tokens to every session, about $0.0028 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-14.
