Agri-CV-Research: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

Agri-CV-Research CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from Jeffisgod/Agri-CV-Research. It costs 370 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Project instructions for an automated agricultural computer-vision research framework. Computer vision is software that interprets images; the framework searches research, runs experiments, analyses results, and helps write papers.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when building or maintaining the framework, including its Python package, dataset and model components, pipeline stages, configuration files, and tests. It also documents the command used to start the project.
Why use it?
It gives contributors a shared build order, coding conventions, project structure, and citation checks. This reduces inconsistent implementations and unsupported research claims.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00370 $0.00370
Opus 5 $0.00185 $0.00185
Sonnet 5 $0.00074 $0.00074
Haiku 4.5 $0.00037 $0.00037

Security

Grade A, and why

Agri-CV-Research CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Agri-CV Research Framework — Build Notes

Project Overview

This is an automated agricultural computer vision research framework. Users input a research direction and the system automatically performs literature search, hypothesis generation, experiment execution, result analysis, and paper writing.

Build Order

Build phases are defined in .cursor/rules/build-instructions.mdc and docs/agri-cv-auto-research-guide.md.

Current Phase: Phase 1 — Skeleton Setup

Key Conventions

  • Python 3.10+, type hints on all functions, Google-style docstrings
  • snake_case for variables, PascalCase for classes
  • All configs in YAML (not JSON)
  • All dataset loaders inherit datasets/base.py::BaseDataset
  • All model wrappers inherit models/base.py::BaseModel
  • All pipeline stages inherit pipeline/base_stage.py::BaseStage
  • seed=42 for all experiments
  • Citation verification is mandatory — no LLM fabrications

Important Notes

  • CLAUDE.md was missing at project root and has been recreated
  • The agri_cv_research/ package is the CLI entry point (agri-research command)
  • Test files are at tests/test_*.py, run with pytest tests/
  • See docs/agri-cv-auto-research-guide.md for the full specification

Quick Commands

# Install in editable mode
pip install -e .

# Run CLI
agri-research --help
agri-research info

# Run tests
pytest tests/

# Current status
# Phase 1 complete: skeleton, pyproject.toml, requirements.txt, CLI, SKILL.md, README.md, CLAUDE.md
# Phase 2+ not yet started
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
