Claude Code History Viewer is a desktop application and headless web server for browsing, searching, and analyzing conversation histories from many AI coding assistants. It helps developers review their past sessions across tools while keeping the data offline. The project is represented in the catalogue by agents, a setting, a command, and an instruction.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.09701 | $0.09701 |
| Opus 5 | $0.04850 | $0.04850 |

Grade C, and why
claude-code-history-viewer CLAUDE.md scanned grade C with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Recursive force deletehighDestructive command
rm -rf with a variable or a broad path is one typo away from removing the wrong tree.

CLAUDE.md
This file provides guidance to Claude Code (claude.ai/code) when working with code in this repository.
If the user's prompt starts with “EP:”, then the user wants to enhance the prompt. Read the PROMPT_ENHANCER.md file and follow the guidelines to enhance the user's prompt. Show the user the enhancement and get their permission to run it before taking action on the enhanced prompt.
The enhanced prompts will follow the language of the original prompt (e.g., Korean prompt input will output Korean prompt enhancements, English prompt input will output English prompt enhancements, etc.)

Project Overview
Claude Code History Viewer is a Tauri-based desktop application that allows users to browse and analyze conversation history from multiple AI coding assistants: Claude Code (~/.claude), Codex CLI (~/.codex), OpenCode (~/.local/share/opencode/), GitHub Copilot CLI (~/.copilot/session-state/), and VS Code Copilot Chat (<UserData>/workspaceStorage/<hash>/chatSessions/).
Development Commands
This project uses just (a command runner). Install with brew install just or cargo install just.
Recommended (using just)
just setup # Install dependencies and configure build environment
just dev # Run full Tauri app in development mode (hot reload)
just lint # Run ESLint
just tauri-build # Build production app (macOS universal binary, Linux native)
just test # Run vitest in watch mode
just test-run # Run tests once with verbose output
just sync-version # Sync version from package.json to Cargo.toml and tauri.conf.json
Alternative (using pnpm directly)
pnpm install # Install dependencies
pnpm exec tauri dev # Development mode
pnpm exec tauri build --target universal-apple-darwin # macOS build
pnpm exec tauri build # Linux/Windows build
pnpm dev # Start Vite dev server only
pnpm build # Build frontend with TypeScript checking
pnpm lint # Run ESLint
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

claude-code-history-viewer CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository jhlee0409/claude-code-history-viewer (2,139 stars, last pushed 4d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 9,701 tokens to every session, about $0.0485 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it C with 1 finding (recursive force delete). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
