Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00942 | $0.00942 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00471 | $0.00471 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00188 | $0.00188 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00094 | $0.00094 |
Grade A, and why
kimi-responses-adapter AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 80 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Project Structure & Module Organization
This is a Rust (tokio/axum) service: an OpenAI Responses API adapter for the Kimi Code Anthropic API. It is stateless and holds no credentials.
src/main.rs— entrypoint; loads env config and starts the axum server.src/adapter/— all adapter logic:config.rsenv-drivenConfig;types.rsResponses/Anthropic API types.convert.rsResponses → Anthropic request conversion.stream.rsAnthropic SSE → Responses SSE state machine (core).nonstream.rsnon-streaming response conversion.reasoning.rsthinking/signature ↔encrypted_contentcodec.models.rsupstream model-metadata cache (lazy, TTL, single-flight).server.rsrouting, upstream calls, raw passthrough for non-Responses paths.
- Tests live next to the code in
#[cfg(test)]modules; there are no assets or fixtures directories.
Build, Test, and Development Commands
Toolchain and tasks are managed by mise (mise install once):
mise run build # cargo build
mise run test # cargo test
mise run lint # cargo clippy --all-targets -- -D warnings
mise run fmt # cargo fmt
mise run ci # fmt --check + clippy + test (what CI runs)
mise run run # serve on :8787 (LISTEN_ADDR to override)
Coding Style & Naming Conventions
- Standard Rust:
cargo fmt-clean,cargo clippy --all-targets -- -D warningsclean (runmise run cibefore committing). - Names mirror the protocol they belong to:
Anthropic*types for the Kimi upstream side,Responses*/InputItemfor the OpenAI client side. - Emitted SSE/JSON payloads are built with
serde_json::json!maps (sorted keys, matching Go'smap[string]anyoutput); parsed input uses serde structs with#[serde(default)]so unknown fields are ignored. Raw JSON that must round-trip byte-for-byte (tool arguments, schemas) is kept asBox<serde_json::value::RawValue>. - Comment protocol quirks (e.g. web-search status suppression) where they are handled.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
