guanlan CLAUDE.md

guanlan CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for coding agents from jin-bo/guanlan. It costs 3,635 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Repository instructions for Guanlan, a knowledge system where an agent builds a connected Markdown wiki instead of searching all source material from scratch each time.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when changing Guanlan's wiki, graph and health features, web or messaging interfaces, MCP connections, or chart and citation handling.
Why use it?
They explain the project's design, commands, architecture, and separate ways to run it so changes follow the intended model.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.03635 $0.03635
Opus 5 $0.01818 $0.01818
Sonnet 5 $0.00727 $0.00727
Haiku 4.5 $0.00364 $0.00364

Measured 5d ago against content hash f7b2605feeb0, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

guanlan CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What this is

观澜 (GuānLán) is an implementation of the Karpathy LLM Wiki pattern: an Agent incrementally builds and maintains a structured, cross-linked markdown knowledge wiki instead of doing fresh RAG retrieval on every query. The full design (in Chinese) is the authoritative spec — read docs/DESIGN.md before any non-trivial change.

Current status: released through v0.1.23; the roadmap is fully implemented — P2 minimal closed loop, P3 health/graph family, P4 optional host layer (Web + MCP + IM, through P4.17's Streamable HTTP transport, P4.18's move to MCP SDK v2 / protocol 2026-07-28, P4.19's read-only Web panel for the opposite direction — the external MCP servers agentao already injects into this KB — P4.20's in-browser rendering of ```flint chart-spec blocks into data charts, P4.21's IM host: a platform-agnostic core plus thin per-platform adapters, v1 = personal WeChat + Feishu, and P4.22's clickable citations: a zero-LLM /page command everywhere plus Feishu card callbacks that a click turns into a synthesized inbound message, so all five intake gates are reused and the Q&A path needed zero changes), P5 retrieval + multi-format ingest, and every half-phase P2.1–P5.4. No roadmap spec remains unimplemented; per-phase flags, behavior, and red lines live in the docs/P*.md file for that phase, not here. P4.22's main path passed real-machine acceptance on 2026-08-17 (click → toast → the page comes back), but several items are still open — which WS frame type Feishu delivers card callbacks on (the code handles both, so the shim stays), the unauthorized-click and forwarded-card paths — so read docs/P4.22-IM可点引用.md §9 for what was actually observed before claiming any individual item is verified.

CLAUDE.md does not restate phase history or per-decision detail — authoritative sources:

  • Per-version change detail → CHANGELOG.md
  • Milestone table → docs/DESIGN.md §7
  • Single-phase design/decisions → docs/P*.md (one file per phase)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
