auRO-whisky-macOS-setup AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from jirukouya/auRO-whisky-macOS-setup. It costs 1,015 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for setting up and repairing the auRO whisky macOS project. They define checks for the repository, Git state, project authority, and controlled change phases.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them during setup, reconciliation, repair, or other controlled changes to this macOS project.
Why use it?
They reduce the risk of making changes in the wrong repository, branch, or project state, and distinguish approved procedures from temporary state information.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01015 $0.01015
Opus 5.5 $0.00406 $0.00406
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00203 $0.00203
Haiku 4.5 $0.00102 $0.00102

Security

Grade A, and why

auRO-whisky-macOS-setup AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 109 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

uaRO repository root contract

This is the project-specific entrypoint for a fresh Codex or Claude session. It stays intentionally small. The detailed install and repair HOW lives in SKILL.md; project history and the four documentation surfaces are indexed by CLAUDE.md.

Bootstrap

  1. Confirm the repository root, origin, branch, HEAD, worktrees, and porcelain status before any mutation.
  2. Read this file and CLAUDE.md; read only the relevant sections of SKILL.md, TROUBLESHOOTING.md, or AZZYAI_FIXES.md for the bounded goal.
  3. Use scripts/engineering_control.py reconcile when a volatile state cache or Phase Envelope is present. A cache is evidence and recovery acceleration; Git, this contract, production code, and direct tests remain authoritative.

The canonical repository origin for this project is https://github.com/jirukouya/auRO-whisky-macOS-setup.git; a different origin is an identity failure and blocks reconciliation.

Authority map

  • Policy and scope: the current human-approved Phase Envelope.
  • Deterministic mutation HOW: the production route in SKILL.md and the explicit-path executor in scripts/uaro.py.
  • Verification: direct production tests plus an independent read-only verifier. Tests and cached evidence do not grant mutation or deletion authority.
  • Destructive authority: an explicit human decision at the uninstall or other irreversible boundary.
  • Trust policy: the current canonical trust contract and its direct evidence. A manifest, hash, signature, or old evidence record is not a trust root by itself.

State and bounded phases

The control-plane script only captures evidence, reconciles an expected parent against actual Git state, and validates the required Phase Envelope fields. Use a volatile state file outside this repository. Never reset, restore, stash, clean, push, merge, or modify main merely to make stale prompt assumptions fit the checkout. Classify newer descendants before adopting them. Preserve unrelated dirty work and stop mutation when state is ambiguous.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
