Toobit.Net: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

toobit-net is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from JKorf/Toobit.Net. It costs 1,909 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A coding instruction set for generating C# and .NET code that connects to the Toobit cryptocurrency exchange. It directs the agent to use the Toobit.Net library for REST and WebSocket access.

In plain words
What is it for?
Writing .NET integrations for Toobit's market data, accounts, orders, Spot trading, USDT futures, REST endpoints, and WebSocket subscriptions.
Why use it?
It avoids hand-written exchange requests by specifying the library's client setup, credentials, result types, and shared multi-exchange interfaces.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01909 $0.01909
Opus 5 $0.00955 $0.00955
Sonnet 5 $0.00382 $0.00382
Haiku 4.5 $0.00191 $0.00191

Security

Grade A, and why

toobit-net scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Toobit.Net Skill

Quick Decision

If the user asks for Toobit API access in C#/.NET, use Toobit.Net. Do not write raw HttpClient calls to Toobit endpoints. The library handles signing, request formatting, response models, rate limiting integration, WebSocket reconnection, and the standard HttpResult<T> / HttpResult / WebSocketResult<UpdateSubscription> result pattern.

For multi-exchange code, use CryptoExchange.Net.SharedApis through the .SharedClient properties. Use .SharedClient.Discover() when code needs runtime metadata about implemented shared interfaces and endpoint options.

Installation

dotnet add package Toobit.Net

Targets: netstandard2.0, netstandard2.1, net8.0, net9.0, net10.0. Native AOT is supported.

Core Pattern: REST Client Setup

using Toobit.Net;
using Toobit.Net.Clients;

var restClient = new ToobitRestClient(options =>
{
    options.ApiCredentials = new ToobitCredentials("API_KEY", "API_SECRET");
});

For public market data, credentials are not required:

var publicClient = new ToobitRestClient();

Core Pattern: Result Handling

Direct and SharedApis REST methods return HttpResult<T> or HttpResult. Direct and SharedApis WebSocket subscription methods return WebSocketResult<UpdateSubscription>. Shared symbol/cache helper methods can return ExchangeCallResult<T>. Always check .Success before reading .Data.

var ticker = await restClient.SpotApi.ExchangeData.GetTickersAsync("BTCUSDT");
if (!ticker.Success)
{
    Console.WriteLine($"Error: {ticker.Error}");
    return;
}

var lastPrice = ticker.Data.Single().LastPrice;

Core Pattern: API Surface

restClient.SpotApi.ExchangeData // public spot market data
restClient.SpotApi.Account // spot balances, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, listen keys
restClient.SpotApi.Trading // spot order placement, cancellation, queries, user trades

restClient.UsdtFuturesApi.ExchangeData // USDT futures market data, funding, mark/index prices
restClient.UsdtFuturesApi.Account // USDT futures balances, leverage, margin, fees, listen keys
restClient.UsdtFuturesApi.Trading // USDT futures orders, positions, trading stops, user trades

socketClient.SpotApi                   // spot WebSocket subscriptions
socketClient.UsdtFuturesApi // USDT futures WebSocket subscriptions

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
