What this is
agentic-memory-mcp is a self-contained, open-source MCP server that provides
long-term memory for AI agents. Persistence uses CockroachDB Cloud (native
VECTOR + distributed vector index). Intelligence uses Amazon Bedrock.
Runtime target is AWS Lambda (Function URL) or local stdio/HTTP.

Isolation contract
This project is developed as a standalone repository. It must not import from or depend on any private monorepo.
Hard requirements:

No outward dependencies. Nothing in this folder may import from, reference, or read files outside this repository. No
../imports that escape the repo, no reliance on a parentpackage.json,tsconfig,node_modules, env, database, or build tooling. This module has its ownpackage.json,tsconfig.json, andvitest.config.ts. -
Self-contained tooling. Build, typecheck, test, lint, run, and deploy must all work from the repository root alone (
npm install+ scripts inpackage.json). -
No secrets in git. Database URLs, Bedrock credentials, and auth tokens are env vars / Secrets Manager only and must never be committed.

Publish hygiene. Before making the tree public, run
npm run hygiene:grep. Zero hits for internal product names listed in that script. -
Internal submission assets. Video scripts, gallery slides, Devpost paste buffers, and operator checklists live in the monorepo at
docs/cockroach-hackathon/only. They are not part of the publicagentic-memory-mcp/export.

Conventions
- TypeScript, ESM, NodeNext: relative imports use explicit
