Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00957 | $0.00957 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00478 | $0.00478 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00191 | $0.00191 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00096 | $0.00096 |
Grade A, and why
apex-accelerator iac-bicep-best-practices.instructions.md scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.

Bicep Best Practices
Region, tags, AVM-first mandate, unique suffix, and security baseline
are defined in AGENTS.md (always loaded). This file covers Bicep-specific
patterns. Policy constraints (04-governance-constraints.md) always take precedence.
Security
Azure Policy always wins. Code adapts to policy, never the reverse.
See references/iac-security-baseline.md for shared security rules and
references/iac-policy-compliance.md for the full policy compliance workflow.
Policy Compliance
Cross-reference 04-governance-constraints.json before writing templates.
For Deny policies, prefer azurePropertyPath; fall back to bicepPropertyPath.
See references/iac-policy-compliance.md for the full checklist and Bicep
translation rules.
Naming
| Resource | Max | Pattern | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Storage | 24 | st{project}{env}{suffix} |
stcontosodev7xk2 |
| Key Vault | 24 | kv-{project}-{env}-{suffix} |
kv-contoso-dev-abc123 |
| SQL Server | 63 | sql-{project}-{env}-{suffix} |
sql-contoso-dev-abc123 |
Use lowerCamelCase for parameters, variables, resources, modules.
Unique Names
Generate uniqueSuffix once in main.bicep via uniqueString(resourceGroup().id).
Pass to all modules. Use take() for length-constrained resources.
AVM Modules
Use AVM modules (br/public:avm/res/{service}/{resource}:{version}) for all
resources where one exists. Raw Bicep only when no AVM exists and user approves.
Pin to the latest published stable version, resolved at plan time:
curl -sf https://mcr.microsoft.com/v2/bicep/avm/res/{path}/tags/list \
| jq -r '.tags[]' | grep -E '^[0-9]+\.[0-9]+\.[0-9]+$' | sort -V | tail -1
Or use the mcp_bicep_list_avm_metadata MCP helper. Never copy a version
from azure-defaults/references/avm-modules.md — versions are
intentionally stripped from that table. The shared stale-pin exception and
freeze policy lives in azure-defaults.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

apex-accelerator iac-bicep-best-practices.instructions.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository jonathan-vella/apex-accelerator (50 stars, last pushed 3d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 957 tokens to every session, about $0.0048 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
