Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00558 | $0.00558 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00279 | $0.00279 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00112 | $0.00112 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00056 | $0.00056 |
Grade A, and why
mcp-harmony-context CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 76 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Project Overview
This is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that provides context about Harmony and their API. The server is built using FastMCP and exposes resources and tools to help AI assistants understand and interact with Harmony's ecosystem.
Technology Stack
- Python 3.12+: Required Python version
- FastMCP: Framework for building MCP servers (mcp[cli]>=1.18.0)
- uv: Package manager for Python dependencies
Configuration
The server requires configuration to point to the Harmony help documentation folder.
Environment Variable
Set the HARMONY_HELP_PATH environment variable to your Harmony installation help folder:
# Windows example
set HARMONY_HELP_PATH=C:\Program Files (x86)\Toon Boom Animation\Toon Boom Harmony 25 Essentials\help
# Or use .env file (copy .env.example to .env and modify)
The default path is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Toon Boom Animation\Toon Boom Harmony 25 Essentials\help
Development Commands
Setup and Installation
# Install dependencies using uv
uv sync
# Configure your Harmony help path (optional if using default)
# Copy .env.example to .env and update HARMONY_HELP_PATH
# Run the MCP server
uv run main.py
Testing the Server
# Use MCP inspector to test the server interactively
mcp dev main.py
Architecture
Core Structure
- main.py: Entry point containing the FastMCP server instance and all resource/tool definitions
- The server is registered as "mcp-harmony-context"
MCP Server Pattern
This project follows the FastMCP pattern:
@mcp.resource(): Decorator for defining resources that clients can fetch@mcp.tool(): Decorator for defining tools that clients can invoke- Resources use URI templates (e.g.,
resource://pattern/{param})
Current Implementation
- Configuration:
HARMONY_HELP_PATHenvironment variable defines the path to Harmony help documentation - Resource
harmony://config/help-path: Returns the configured help path and whether it exists - The server reads from the local Harmony help documentation folder to provide context
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

mcp-harmony-context CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository JorgeHI/mcp-harmony-context (0 stars, last pushed 10mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 558 tokens to every session, about $0.0028 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
