Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.07556 | $0.07556 |
| Opus 5 | $0.03778 | $0.03778 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.01511 | $0.01511 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00756 | $0.00756 |
Grade A, and why
mongodb-memory-mcp CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 565 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Operating notes for anyone — an AI coding session or a human contributor — working in this repository. Read this before touching anything: it is the accumulated set of decisions and conventions the code cannot state for itself.
0. Hard rules — violate none of these
- All Node tooling runs inside a container, never on the host. No host
node, npm, npx, tsc, vitestoreslint. Use./scripts/ndocker.sh <cmd>from the project root, ordocker compose ... run --rm app <cmd>. The wrapper pinsHOME, the XDG directories,TMPDIRand the npm cache to paths under the bind-mounted project (.container-home/and.npm-cache/, both gitignored), so tooling never writes outside the repository. .envis never committed and never read directly..env.exampleis the checked-in template. Config reaches the process through the environment (env_filein compose,--env-file, or exported vars);src/config/env.tsreadsprocess.envand nothing else.- Index definitions are code. They live in
src/db/index-definitions/*.jsonand are applied bynpm run db:indexes. Never create or edit a search index in the Atlas UI — the UI is not the source of truth and cloud Atlas would immediately drift from Atlas Local. - Chunks never live in an array on the parent document. They are their own collection (unbounded-array anti-pattern; also the 16MB document limit and the fact that a vector index cannot index an array of subdocuments usefully).
- Every
/api/*route requires the bearer token, reads included. This is a product decision, not an oversight: the process is network-reachable and an unauthenticated read surface hands the whole knowledge base to anyone who can reach the port. The direct consequence is that the server-rendered web pages callKnowledgeServicein-process rather than fetching/api/*, so no token ever reaches a browser./healthz,/readyzand static assets are the only open routes.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
