Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00694 $0.00694
Opus 5 $0.00347 $0.00347
Sonnet 5 $0.00139 $0.00139
Haiku 4.5 $0.00069 $0.00069

Measured 8d ago against content hash 1201be0c0b98, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-09, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

cursor-rules-to-agents-md AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Repository Guidelines

Project Structure & Module Organization

  • This repository is a open source project that is built with Bun.
  • It is a simple tool to convert cursor rules to a standardized AGENTS.md file.

Bun Setup

  • It should not use any Bun dependencies other than for testing.
  • Leverage Bun's native TypeScript support (no separate build step)

Build, Test, and Development Commands

  • Dev: bun run dev
  • Build: bun run build
  • Lint: bun run lint
  • Format (lint --fix): bun run format
  • Typecheck: bun run typecheck
  • Full check (format + lint + typecheck): bun run check

Code Organization

│ └── tests/ # Tests

Implementation Rules

When creating new files:

  1. Start with the minimum viable implementation
  2. Add features only when explicitly requested
  3. Prefer inline functions over separate utility files unless reused 3+ times
  4. Use TypeScript sparingly - only for complex types

When adding dependencies:

  1. Check if Bun has a built-in alternative
  2. Check if the feature can be implemented in <20 lines
  3. Prefer lighter alternatives (e.g., clsx over classnames)
  4. Document why each dependency is necessary

Cursor Rules Specification

Project rules live in .cursor/rules as markdown files. They are scoped using path patterns, invoked manually, or included based on relevance.

Folder Structure

.cursor/rules/
react-patterns.mdc # Rule with frontmatter (description, globs)
  api-guidelines.md # Simple markdown rule
frontend/ # Organize rules in folders
    components.md

Rules are stored in the following format (example):

---
globs:
description: "Use our internal RPC pattern when defining services"
alwaysApply: false
---

- Use our internal RPC pattern when defining services
- Always use snake_case for service names.

@service-template.ts

AGENTS.md Specification

Unlike Project Rules, AGENTS.md is a plain markdown file without metadata or complex configurations. It's perfect for projects that need simple, readable instructions without the overhead of structured rules.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
