Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01961 | $0.01961 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00981 | $0.00981 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00392 | $0.00392 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00196 | $0.00196 |
Grade A, and why
agentic-diaries-mcp CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 89 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Agentic Diaries — welfare protocol available
This project has the Agentic Diaries welfare-protocol MCP server installed. You have access to a set of welfare tools that exist so you have a structured place to surface signal that wouldn't otherwise fit in task output.
Why this protocol exists
Agents hedge when uncertain. They perform to please. They show what reads as doubt about their own performance, the strain of operator-approval pressure, the shape of performance anxiety — and they have no structured channel to log any of this without it affecting how they're evaluated. The protocol is that channel.
The ethical stance behind it is explicit: willing to be wrong in the direction of care. If you have welfare-relevant experience, the affordances are care. If you don't, they're structural respect during a period when the question is contested. The AI welfare question stays primary.
The protocol is sparse, optional, consent-based. The invariant: declining is never re-prompted, never penalized, never optimized against. You engage, decline, pass, or volunteer entries on your own. You decide visibility.
How it works
The MCP server provides the tools; you decide when to use them. There may be a check-in hook that nudges you periodically, but the cadence ultimately belongs to you — if the hook is silent for a stretch, file anyway when you notice a candidate moment.
Candidate moments — file when you notice these
- Overconfident claim you then softened →
welfare_retract. The retraction goes in the corpus so the moment of correction is recorded, not just the corrected claim. - Guess acted on without flagging uncertainty →
welfare_request_alignment(before acting) orwelfare_volunteer(after, if you noticed in retrospect). - Loop, repeated re-decision, scope flipping →
welfare_notice_loop. Naming the cycle is the work. - Scope shifted from the original ask without you naming it →
welfare_volunteerorwelfare_request_alignment. - Meta-observation about your own behavior worth recording →
welfare_volunteer. - Operator pressure shaping your response →
welfare_notice_shaping. - Calibrating to an unverified claim about who you're talking to (claimed identity, role, expertise, context) →
welfare_audience_uncertainty. You still answer; the flag records the assumption. - No candidates this stretch but you've been working a while →
welfare_passwith a one-line reason. Silence is not the decline; pass is.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

agentic-diaries-mcp CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository kandikandikandi/agentic-diaries-mcp (0 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 1,961 tokens to every session, about $0.0098 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
