CLAUDE.md

tiktok-gen CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from kangarooking/tiktok-gen. It costs 913 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Repository instructions for Claude Code covering a TikTok video-generation project with separate frontend and backend code.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when changing the frontend, backend, database migrations, API server, background worker, or tests.
Why use it?
They give the coding agent the project context and the commands needed to install, run, migrate, and test both parts of the application.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00913 $0.00913
Opus 5 $0.00456 $0.00456
Sonnet 5 $0.00183 $0.00183
Haiku 4.5 $0.00091 $0.00091

Measured 8d ago against content hash a338ddd5c851, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-08, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

tiktok-gen CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Overview

TikTokGen is an AI-powered digital human video generation platform. Users select digital human avatars, voice tones, and marketing scripts to automatically generate lip-synced short videos.

Development Commands

Frontend (from /frontend)

npm install # Install dependencies
npm run dev # Start dev server (port 3000)
npm run build # Production build
npm run preview # Preview production build

Backend (from /backend)

pip install -r requirements.txt # Install dependencies
python init_db.py # Initialize database
uvicorn app.main:app --reload --host 0.0.0.0 --port 3001 # Start API server
celery -A app.tasks worker --loglevel=info --pool=solo # Start Celery worker (separate terminal)
pytest tests/ -v # Run tests
alembic upgrade head # Run database migrations
alembic revision --autogenerate -m "description" # Create new migration

Note: Both FastAPI and Celery worker must run for video generation to work.

  • app/models/ - SQLAlchemy ORM models
  • app/schemas/ - Pydantic request/response schemas
  • app/integrations/ - Third-party service clients
  • app/tasks/ - Celery async tasks for video generation

Frontend: React + TypeScript + Vite (SPA)

  • Hash-based routing (window.location.hash)
  • pages/ - Page components (Landing, Dashboard, QuickCreate, AssetsStudio, Profile)
  • services/api.ts - API client with fetch
  • services/hooks.ts - Custom React hooks (useAuth, useAssets, useProjects, useProjectStatus)

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
