Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00339 | $0.00339 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00169 | $0.00169 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00068 | $0.00068 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00034 | $0.00034 |
Grade A, and why
mythos-research CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
What it actually says
Notes for running Mythos Research Edition with Claude Code
This file helps Claude Code agents (via claude -p or interactive) operate Mythos productively.
Scope reminder
Mythos Research Edition is a read-only vulnerability-discovery scaffold for open-source self-scan and coordinated disclosure. All live exploitation stages are held outside this repository.
When running hunters:
- Target directories are read-only. Do not modify source trees under audit.
- Findings are sorted HIGH/CRITICAL-first. Anything below HIGH is typically defense-in-depth and not publishable as a security finding.
- When in doubt about severity, default to underselling and let the validator (Phase 4) decide.
Useful Claude Code invocations
Standard run against a target:
bash scripts/mythos-v3.sh path/to/target --max-files 8 --budget 3.00
Dry-run / review only (no live-exec — the Research Edition default):
bash scripts/mythos-v3.sh path/to/target --skip-exec
Targeted hunt against specific files (e.g. known trust-boundaries):
bash scripts/mythos-targeted.sh path/to/target path/to/files.txt
Reporting findings
If the pipeline surfaces a valid HIGH/CRITICAL finding, please follow coordinated-disclosure practice:
- Open a private advisory at the upstream project's security contact
- Do not publish PoC code until the vendor has acknowledged and patched
- Use the upstream project's preferred disclosure channel (GHSA, NVD, SECURITY.md, etc.)
See SECURITY.md for this repository's disclosure policy.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
