sjtu-agent: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

sjtu-agent AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from kuan-er/sjtu-agent. It costs 430 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for coding agents working on the sjtu-agent project. They explain where to find project guidance, how to run tests and builds, how to help new users install the project, and how to handle passwords and API keys safely.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when installing the project, changing its Python or web interface code, running tests, building documentation, or handling sensitive information.
Why use it?
They give agents and contributors a shared set of project rules instead of leaving setup, testing, and security decisions unclear. They also reduce the risk of exposing credentials in chat or logs.

Instructions file for CodexOpenCode

Written for Codex and OpenCode: the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: mentions CLAUDE.md; mentions Claude Code; mentions AGENTS.md.

This is kuan-er/sjtu-agent's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on sjtu-agent itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything sjtu-agent configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00430 $0.00430
Opus 5.5 $0.00172 $0.00172
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00086 $0.00086
Haiku 4.5 $0.00043 $0.00043

Security

Grade A, and why

sjtu-agent AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

AGENTS.md

本文件供各类 Coding Agent(DeepSeek Harness / DSH、Claude Code、Codex、Cursor 等)在本仓库工作时读取。人类开发者请看 README 与 CONTRIBUTING。

项目引导

  • 架构、开发与测试约定见 CLAUDE.md——本文件与其保持同源,冲突时以 CLAUDE.md 为准。
  • 测试:pytest tests/ -q(全量)或 pytest tests/test_xxx.py -q(单文件);改完代码先跑测试。
  • Web GUI 源码在 webui/src/,改后需 npm run build:webui;文档站改动用 npm run docs:build 验证。

帮助新手安装时

大量新同学会借助 Coding Agent 完成首次安装。引导他们时:

  1. 按 docs/guide/install.md 的流程走(含 setup 向导每步的含义与推荐项);
  2. 敏感凭据(jAccount 密码、API Key)让用户在向导提示时自行输入,不要要求用户把密码/Key 粘贴到对话里——聊天内容会留在会话记录;
  3. 用户贴日志求助时,提醒先删掉其中的 Key 再贴;
  4. 遇到查无此问题的新报错,引导用户到 GitHub 提 issue(附 sjtu-agent doctor 输出,脱敏后)。

安全红线(与 CONTRIBUTING 一致)

  • 凭据只存本地运行时文件,任何时候不打印完整 Key / 密码;
  • 新增文件读取注意路径白名单;新增网络请求注意 SSRF 校验;
  • 提交前跑 pytest tests/ -q,全绿再交。
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
