productivity-kit: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

productivity-kit CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from laaibaQasim/productivity-kit. It costs 917 tokens per session, scanned B, original, MIT.

Project instructions for Claude Code, an AI coding assistant. They control when responses include task summaries and implementation details, based on a project configuration setting.

In plain words
What is it for?
Following response-format rules for coding and non-coding tasks, checking configuration files, and recording coding changes in a standard summary.
Why use it?
They make responses and interaction logs consistent when session tracking is enabled, while avoiding extra formatting when it is disabled.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00917 $0.00917
Opus 5 $0.00458 $0.00458
Sonnet 5 $0.00183 $0.00183
Haiku 4.5 $0.00092 $0.00092

Security

Grade B, and why

productivity-kit CLAUDE.md scanned grade B with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Reads agent configuration directoriesmediumAgent snooping

.claude/, .codex/, .gemini/ hold keys, settings and other credentials a mod has no legitimate need for.

If unsure, read `.claude/config.json` in the workspace before assuming the format is required. If the project-level `.claude/config.json` does not exist, fall back to `~/.claude/config.json` (system-level).

Claude Code Instructions

Response Summary Requirement

When this applies: Only when session_tracking.enabled is true in .claude/config.json for this project. If it is false or the key is missing, do not follow the structured Summary / Implementation Details rules below for hook logging—respond normally unless the user asks for a summary.

If unsure, read .claude/config.json in the workspace before assuming the format is required. If the project-level .claude/config.json does not exist, fall back to ~/.claude/config.json (system-level).

When session_tracking.enabled is true, and you are responding to task-based requests (coding, debugging, feature implementation, etc.):

  1. Always include summaries for coding tasks — no exceptions, regardless of response length
  2. Skip summaries only for: non-coding task responses that are 2-3 lines or less
  3. Format: "You asked me to [X], here's a summary of what I did: [summary]"
  4. For all coding tasks: Add "Implementation Details" section before summary with:
    • Key files changed (with line numbers where relevant)
    • Important changes or decisions made
  5. Summary length: One paragraph maximum, concise
  6. Heading format (for hook detection): Always use **Summary:** as the exact heading

Example Format (Coding Task)

[... response content ...]

**Implementation Details:**
- Updated `src/components/Button.tsx:45-60` to add loading state
- Modified `utils/validate.ts` to fix input sanitization

**Summary:**
You asked me to add a loading state to the Button component. I updated the component to accept a `loading` prop that disables the button and shows a spinner, then fixed a related validation issue in the utils file that was preventing proper error handling.

Example Format (Non-Coding Task)

[... response content ...]

**Summary:**
You asked me to investigate the build failures. I found that the TypeScript config was missing the `skipLibCheck` flag and updated it, which resolved 3 of the 5 failing type checks.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
