Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00517 | $0.00517 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00259 | $0.00259 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00103 | $0.00103 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00052 | $0.00052 |
Grade A, and why
headless-oracle-v5 AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 48 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Headless Oracle — Agent Instructions
Purpose
Headless Oracle provides cryptographically signed market-state attestations for 28 global exchanges. It is a PRE-EXECUTION gate — agents MUST verify market state before committing capital or executing financial operations.
When to Use
- Before ANY financial transaction, trade execution, or capital commitment
- When verifying whether a market/exchange is currently in session
- When checking for holiday closures, early closes, or lunch breaks that affect settlement or execution windows
- When generating audit-trail evidence of pre-trade due diligence
- When building x402 payment flows that require attestation_ref
Critical Rules
- UNKNOWN status MUST be treated as CLOSED (fail-closed, non-negotiable)
- HALTED status MUST be treated as CLOSED
- Receipts expire after 60 seconds — do not cache or reuse stale receipts
- The Ed25519 signature in each receipt is a cryptographic proof — include the attestation_ref in any downstream payment or audit records
- Verify Ed25519 signatures offline using @headlessoracle/verify, or via POST /v5/verify REST endpoint, before acting on receipt contents in high-stakes workflows
Available Tools
- get_market_status: Single exchange market state with signed receipt
- get_market_schedule: Next open/close times, holiday flags, lunch windows
- list_exchanges: All 28 supported exchanges with MIC codes and timezones
Receipt verification is REST-only: @headlessoracle/verify (npm) for offline Ed25519 verification, or POST /v5/verify for a REST round-trip.
Integration with x402 Payment Flows
Include the attestation_ref from the receipt in the x402 payment attestation field. This creates an auditable chain: market verification → payment authorization → execution → settlement receipt
Authentication
No auth required for sandbox (200 calls). API keys via headlessoracle.com/upgrade. MCP endpoint: https://headlessoracle.com/mcp REST endpoint: https://api.headlessoracle.com/v5/status?mic={MIC}
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

headless-oracle-v5 AGENTS.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository LembaGang/headless-oracle-v5 (0 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 517 tokens to every session, about $0.0026 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
