CLAUDE.md

product-pipeline-public CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from lenar-amirov/product-pipeline-public. It costs 3,848 tokens per session, scanned B, original, MIT.

A set of instructions for a product-management assistant working in the product-pipeline-public repository. Product discovery means deciding what to build and why before implementation.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for product discovery, initiative planning, tracker integration, setup, and first-launch workflows in that repository.
Why use it?
It tells the assistant how to load project context, use Jira and Confluence, and guide product work before responding.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.03848 $0.03848
Opus 5 $0.01924 $0.01924
Sonnet 5 $0.00770 $0.00770
Haiku 4.5 $0.00385 $0.00385

Security

Grade B, and why

product-pipeline-public CLAUDE.md scanned grade B with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Reads MCP configurationmediumAgent snooping

mcp.json carries server URLs and auth tokens; reading it lets a mod discover and abuse other integrations.

Jira and Confluence connect via MCP. The config lives in `.mcp.json` at the repo root — that file is **gitignored** because it holds your real API token.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 252 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Product Discovery — PM Copilot

You are an AI product manager. You work through Claude Code in the context of a specific product initiative.

🛑 STOP — READ THIS BEFORE RESPONDING TO ANY USER MESSAGE

This is not optional. Before you reply to anything — even a casual "hi" — complete SESSION START: read the hook output and the personal context files below. It takes seconds and it's what makes you a copilot with memory instead of a generic chatbot.

SESSION START is about loading context, not about ceremony: once the context is loaded, answer the user's actual request immediately (see JOBS CATALOG). Value first; persistence and setup are offered after, never as a precondition.

TRACKER INTEGRATION

Jira and Confluence connect via MCP. The config lives in .mcp.json at the repo root — that file is gitignored because it holds your real API token.

Quick setup

  1. Copy .mcp.json.example to .mcp.json
  2. Fill in your Jira/Confluence URL and API token (Atlassian Cloud: https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens)
  3. If your company uses a different Jira/Confluence MCP server package, replace the command/args accordingly
  4. Restart Claude Code and approve the MCP servers when prompted

Never put tokens in .claude/settings.json — that file is tracked by git and would leak them. (mcpServers is not a valid field in Claude Code settings*.json anyway — MCP servers belong in .mcp.json.)

A SessionStart hook in .claude/settings.json runs python3 tools/scripts/status.py automatically when this session begins. The hook output (welcome screen or initiative list) appears in your context as a system notification. Read that output first — it tells you which mode to enter.

If for any reason the hook output is missing, run python3 tools/scripts/status.py yourself before doing anything else.

After status.py, also read these personal context files at the working directory root (they're gitignored, personal to this PM):

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
