liendeadline-mcp: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

liendeadline-mcp AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from LienDeadline/liendeadline-mcp. It costs 338 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for the LienDeadline MCP server, an MCP service that lets AI tools use defined tools through local or HTTP connections. They describe how to check, review, and deliver code safely.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when changing the server, tool schemas, package files, tests, or delivery process. They also guide reviews of credential leaks, caller data exposure, and incorrect supplier results.
Why use it?
They give coding agents project-specific rules that general guidance would not know, such as keeping requests isolated and running local checks instead of relying on GitHub Actions.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00338 $0.00338
Opus 5.5 $0.00135 $0.00135
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00068 $0.00068
Haiku 4.5 $0.00034 $0.00034

Security

Grade A, and why

liendeadline-mcp AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

LienDeadline MCP

This repository owns the stdio/HTTP MCP server, tool schemas and package manifests. Preserve caller-key isolation, mocked source tests and the distinction between guides, discovery and allowance-consuming calculations.

Local checks and delivery

  1. Run ordinary checks locally. The sole GitHub Actions exception is the release-only npm trusted-publishing workflow in .github/workflows/release.yml, triggered only by new stable release tags. Do not add hosted PR/push source checks, schedules, OpenAI calls, Registry publication or deployment to it. Shared execution, locked tools, isolated environments and receipts belong to LienDeadline Ops local CI.
  2. From this root, install the locked dependency tree explicitly with npm ci --ignore-scripts, then run bash scripts/check-local.sh. The script accepts NODE_EXECUTABLE and NPM_EXECUTABLE; Ops supplies its locked runtime. Details and former job coverage are in docs/LOCAL_CHECKS.md.
  3. Complete the requested changes and local validation through the authorized delivery boundary. Publishing, hosted checks and deployment use the separate procedures in RELEASING.md and docs/HOSTED.md; local checks do not grant external-write authority.

Code Review Rules

Flag only concrete production paths that expose a caller key or project facts, mix credentials between requests, or emit an incorrect supplier result. Authoring guidance alone is not a blocking finding. Avoid hypothetical and aesthetic findings; on re-review flag only new P0/P1 issues.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
