Engnieering_Calculative_Methods: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

Engnieering_Calculative_Methods CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from liuchunyi-buaa/Engnieering_Calculative_Methods. It costs 932 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Instructions for an engineering-calculation study repository containing numerical-analysis code, lecture slides, summaries, and experiment spreadsheets.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when building or running the repository's C++ and Python programs or navigating its chapter resources.
Why use it?
They clarify how to compile the C++ examples, run the Python example, install the supported NumPy version, and find related study materials.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00932 $0.00932
Opus 5 $0.00466 $0.00466
Sonnet 5 $0.00186 $0.00186
Haiku 4.5 $0.00093 $0.00093

Security

Grade A, and why

Engnieering_Calculative_Methods CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Overview

BUAA 工程计算方法 (Engineering Calculative Methods) 2026 Spring exam review repository. Contains reference code, lecture slides, knowledge summaries, and Excel experiment files across 10 chapters of numerical analysis. MIT-licensed, authored by Liu Chunyi.

Build & Run

No build system — manual compilation and execution:

# C++ (requires C++11 or later for `>>` in nested templates)
g++ -std=c++11 文件名.cpp -o 输出名 && ./输出名

# Python (NumPy constrained to <2.0)
pip install -r requirements.txt
python3 Guass求积公式.py

Compiled binaries live in Code/output/ (gitignored).

Repository Structure

Code/ # Reference implementations (C++ .cpp + one Python .py)
PPT/ # Lecture slides (PDF, 14 files across 10 chapters)
Summary/ # Chapter knowledge summaries (Markdown with LaTeX, one folder per chapter)
Excel/      # Classroom experiment spreadsheets

Summary/README.md contains the canonical chapter-to-file mapping table linking each chapter's PPT, Code, and Excel files.

Code Conventions

Parameter Modification via Macros

Code files are designed for rapid exam reuse: modify #define macros and global constants at the top of each file, recompile, run. Do not refactor away this pattern — it's intentional for exam workflow.

Sorting Algorithm Interface

All sort functions in 排序算法.cpp share a common signature:

void xxxSort(vector<ELEMTYPE>& arr, int left, int right)
// left:  inclusive start index
// right: inclusive end index

Element type is controlled by typedef int ELEMTYPE; at the top — change it to switch between int, double, etc.

C++11 Requirement

Nested template syntax like vector<vector<double>> requires C++11 (right-angle bracket fix). Always compile with -std=c++11 or later.

Python: NumPy <2.0

requirements.txt pins numpy>=1.21,<2.0. NumPy 2.x introduces breaking changes; do not widen this constraint without verifying compatibility.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
