RigorPilot-Skills: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

RigorPilot-Skills AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from lllllllama/RigorPilot-Skills. It costs 799 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of instructions for coding and research agents working in a repository. It uses the Agent Skills standard, where each skill has a documented contract, to support reproducible deep-learning experiments.

In plain words
What is it for?
It guides agents through reproducing research repositories, setting them up, running experiments, checking training, analysing results, and debugging safely.
Why use it?
It helps agents choose a safe, evidence-based workflow instead of making unverified changes or treating exploration as the default. It also records what was done in an annotated README.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00799 $0.00799
Opus 5 $0.00400 $0.00400
Sonnet 5 $0.00160 $0.00160
Haiku 4.5 $0.00080 $0.00080

Security

Grade A, and why

RigorPilot-Skills AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AGENTS.md — RigorPilot Skills

Guidance for any coding or research agent (OpenAI Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, Claude Code, and other AGENTS.md-aware tools) working in or with this repository. Skills here follow the Agent Skills open standard; each skills/<slug>/SKILL.md is the canonical, model-agnostic contract.

What this project is

RigorPilot Skills is a research-first Agent Skills repository for deep learning experiments. It keeps AI-assisted research grounded in comparability, reproducible evidence, and auditable changes while an agent reproduces, improves, or explores a research repository. The flagship output is the annotated README: repro_outputs/ANNOTATED_README.md replays the target repository's README verbatim with a color-coded, evidence-linked account of what the agent did in each section.

Using the skills on a research repository

  • Default to the trusted lane. Ambiguous requests route to reproduction, setup, conservative execution, training verification, analysis, or safe debugging — never to exploration.
  • Read skills/<slug>/SKILL.md before acting; it defines fit, boundaries, workflow, and the output contract for that skill.
  • Entrypoints by intent:
Intent Skill slug
Reproduce from README commands ai-research-reproduction
Read-only repository analysis analyze-project
Environment / dataset / weights setup env-and-assets-bootstrap
Conservative documented run minimal-run-and-audit
Conservative training verification run-train
Diagnose-before-patch debugging safe-debug
Candidate-only exploration (explicit authorization required) ai-research-explore
  • In the explore lane, follow references/research-thinking-loop.md: a greedy, evidence-anchored cycle (observe → ground → hypothesize → single-variable design → bounded run → fair compare → keep or roll back → record).
  • Consult ~/.rigorpilot/PERSONAL_RIGOR.md if present, under references/continuous-learning-policy.md — advisory only; it never relaxes rigor gates and the repository always wins on conflict.
  • Write evidence bundles to the documented output directories (repro_outputs/, train_outputs/, analysis_outputs/, debug_outputs/, explore_outputs/). Never claim success without recorded evidence.
  • Never make silent semantic changes to a target repository; record every assumption, deviation, and blocker.
  • Exploration is candidate-only and requires the researcher's explicit authorization plus a durable current_research anchor.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

RigorPilot-Skills AGENTS.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository lllllllama/RigorPilot-Skills (484 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 799 tokens to every session, about $0.0040 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
