Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01582 | $0.01582 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00791 | $0.00791 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00316 | $0.00316 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00158 | $0.00158 |
Grade A, and why
mcp-toolkit-hub CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 154 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

tier: distributable # MCP package for others to use
version: 0.5.0
last_updated: 2026-02-10
MCP hub server that aggregates tools from multiple domain packages into a single globally-available interface.
Purpose
This package provides a hub that exposes tools from multiple domain packages (content-feed, travel, etc.) through a single MCP server. When configured at the user level, tools work globally regardless of which directory Claude Code is started from.
Why a hub? Without it, each MCP package needs separate configuration, and tools only work in specific project directories. The hub pattern gives you one config, global availability.
Architecture
User Config (~/.config/mcp-toolkit-hub/config.yaml)
↓
mcp-toolkit-hub (this package)
↓
Domain Packages (mcp-content-feed, mcp-travel, etc.)
Key Constraints
- Distributable — Generic orchestration logic; user config is personal
- Delegates, doesn't duplicate — Business logic stays in domain packages. This package only routes.
- Namespaced tools — Tools are prefixed with package name:
briefing_run_weekly_digest(underscores, not colons — MCP spec limitation)
Defensive Coding Standards
This package loads and delegates to other packages — it's the trust boundary between user config, domain packages, and LLM-generated tool calls. Apply defensive thinking to all code changes.
Security-Sensitive Areas
Config Loading (src/lib/config.ts)
- Config is YAML from user files — may be hand-edited, malformed, or missing
- Validate structure with Zod schema: actionable error messages for every validation failure
- Handle missing config file: clear error with path ("Config not found at [path]. Create from example at [example path]")
- Handle malformed YAML: surface parse error with line number if possible
- Validate
schema_versionfield — future-proof against config format changes
Path Expansion (src/lib/config.ts)
- Package paths come from user config and use tilde (
~) expansion - Validate expanded paths: directory exists, is absolute, doesn't traverse outside expected locations
- Never use user-supplied paths in
require()orimport()without validation - Directory traversal risk:
../../etc/passwdin a path field should be caught and rejected
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

mcp-toolkit-hub CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository lokkaflokka/mcp-toolkit-hub (1 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 1,582 tokens to every session, about $0.0079 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
