Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Grade A, and why
dotfiles AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 78 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Repository Guidelines
Purpose and scope
This public repository contains Otávio Miranda's personal dotfiles and bootstrap automation for macOS and Ubuntu. Other people also use it, so preserve personal preferences while keeping shared setup behavior safe and understandable.
- These instructions apply repository-wide.
pi/agent/AGENTS.mdadds stricter rules forpi/agent/; follow the closest applicableAGENTS.md. README.mdis the user-facing source for supported setup and safety warnings. It documents clean-install testing only on ARM Ubuntu 24.04 and macOS Sequoia; do not claim broader support without evidence.config/paths.shis the documented source of truth for shared host paths. PreserveOM_PATHS_FILEoverrides at callers that support them.- When documentation, tests, comments, and implementation disagree, trace the intended behavior and report the conflict instead of silently choosing one.
Repository map and boundaries
install.shinstalls dependencies and replaces user configuration with links into this checkout.homebrew/Brewfileis the macOS package manifest.zsh/,tmux/,nvim/,vim/,ghostty/,fastfetch/, andgit/contain deployed application and shell configuration.scripts/contains user commands, including utilities that contact remote machines, cloud services, and queues. Inspect dependencies and side effects before changing or running one.pi/agent/contains only static Pi configuration. Credentials, sessions, trust decisions, generated model state, and machine-specific model settings must remain local, as described inREADME.md.prompts/contains reusable prompt text.tests/currently covers onlyscripts/bq.
Safety and public data
Treat every tracked file and Git commit as public.
- Never add secrets, credentials, tokens, private keys,
.envfiles, session data, personal logs, or other sensitive information. Do not rely on.gitignoreas the only protection. - Do not add caches, generated output, runtime artifacts, or machine-local state unless explicitly requested and safe for publication.
- Never run
install.shas a check: it is interactive and intentionally destructive. Do not run synchronization, upload, SSH, queue, or remote-host helpers without explicit authorization for their side effects. - Installation and setup changes require extra care because they can overwrite files, install software, and affect users beyond the repository owner.
- Preserve unrelated personal configuration. Do not generalize, reformat, or "clean up" preferences outside the requested scope.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

dotfiles AGENTS.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository luizomf/dotfiles (53 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 875 tokens to every session, about $0.0044 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-06.
