AGENTS.md

trae-superpowers AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode from luyangkk/trae-superpowers. It costs 1,757 tokens per session, scanned C, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for working on the trae-superpowers project, which installs coding-agent skills into Trae IDE. They describe the project, installation targets, scripts, environment settings, and offline tests.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when installing, updating, uninstalling, or testing the project's Bash scripts and skill integration.
Why use it?
They give an agent the project-specific commands and boundaries needed to change and test the repository safely.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01757 $0.01757
Opus 5.5 $0.00703 $0.00703
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00351 $0.00351
Haiku 4.5 $0.00176 $0.00176

Security

Grade C, and why

trae-superpowers AGENTS.md scanned grade C with 2 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

bash tests/run_all.sh

bash tests/test_install.sh
bash tests/test_update.sh
bash tests/test_uninstall.sh

# 本地离线跑安装脚本(用假 skills 源和显式目标,避免 git clone 与写入真实目录)
HOME=/tmp/fakehome SUPERPOWERS_TARGET=trae-cn \
  SUPERPOWERS_SKILLS_SRC=/path/to/fake bash install.sh

  • SUPERPOWERS_UPSTREAM_URL:覆盖上游仓库地址,默认 https://github.com/obra/superpowers.git。
  • SUPERPOWERS_TTY:测试专用的终端设备覆盖项,默认 /dev/tty;生产使用无需设置。

核心函数 select_target / target_skills_dir / agents_superpowers_state / resolve_src / copy_skills / write_manifest。
  • tests/test_helpers.bash:断言与隔离环境辅助(make_temp_home、 make_fake_src、assert_*、finish_tests)。
  • README.md / README.zh-CN.md:

两个候选根目录($HOME 下):.trae-cn(CN)、.trae(intl)。

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
