hermes-finance: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

hermes-finance CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from Lzh-xbccz/hermes-finance. It costs 311 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for Hermes Finance, a finance analysis project with a local MCP server and command-line fallback. They define how market data must be collected and how analyses should reach a final stance.

In plain words
What is it for?
They are for analyzing cryptocurrency, futures, and other market data through the Hermes Finance tools. They guide data fetching, multi-dimension analysis, uncertainty handling, and the final direction or no-action conclusion.
Why use it?
They keep market analyses evidence-based and consistent, especially when data is incomplete, conflicting, or stale. They also require checks such as full data retrieval, technical analysis when available, and a counter-direction review.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00311 $0.00311
Opus 5 $0.00156 $0.00156
Sonnet 5 $0.00062 $0.00062
Haiku 4.5 $0.00031 $0.00031

Security

Grade A, and why

hermes-finance CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Claude Code Notes

Hermes Finance includes a project-scoped MCP server in .mcp.json. Claude Code should prompt for approval the first time it sees this project MCP configuration.

Use the MCP server named hermes-finance when available. If MCP is unavailable, use the shared CLI:

python3 -m hermes_finance route BTC
python3 -m hermes_finance fetch crypto BTC --blocks all
python3 -m hermes_finance analyze crypto BTC --blocks all
python3 -m hermes_finance analyze futures CL

For every market analysis, do not produce a quick market summary. Fetch full data, run CZSC when K-lines are available, and answer with the full eight-dimension framework for that market. Include 各维度证据, 方向判断依据, 反向审计, 缠论确认, and 最终方向; if CZSC is unavailable, mark dimension 8 as insufficient. The final stance must come from dimensions 1-7 first, then be synthesized from evidence strength and pass the counter-direction audit. Do not use voting counts or weighted scoring to decide direction. Do not force 做多 / 做空; mixed, stale, incomplete, or contradicted evidence must end as 观望, 震荡, or 无方向优势. CZSC only confirms, conflicts, downgrades confidence, or refines entry/exit timing.

Read AGENTS.md for repository workflow and validation commands.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
