meteoswiss-mcp: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

meteoswiss-mcp CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from malkreide/meteoswiss-mcp. It costs 7,417 tokens per session, scanned A, a copy of swisstopo-mcp CLAUDE.md, MIT.

A set of Claude Code instructions for working on the meteoswiss-mcp project. It explains preparation checks, tests, and what to do when checks fail or are overlooked.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it before changes to check the remote branch, fetch current commits, run the pinned Ruff version, and verify that tests actually detect broken implementations.
Why use it?
It helps prevent work based on an outdated Git clone, the wrong default branch, or a different tool version than the one used in continuous integration.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.07417 $0.07417
Opus 5 $0.03708 $0.03708
Sonnet 5 $0.01483 $0.01483
Haiku 4.5 $0.00742 $0.00742

Security

Grade A, and why

meteoswiss-mcp CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Vor der Arbeit

Klon-Aktualität prüfen — Standard-Branch ermitteln, nicht main annehmen:

B=$(git ls-remote --symref origin HEAD | sed -n 's|^ref: refs/heads/\([^[:space:]]*\).*|\1|p')
git fetch origin "${B:?Standard-Branch nicht ermittelbar}" &&
  git rev-list --count HEAD..FETCH_HEAD
