Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01218 | $0.01218 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00487 | $0.00487 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00244 | $0.00244 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00122 | $0.00122 |
Grade A, and why
maplibre-agent-skills AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 40 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
AGENTS.md
Orientation for AI coding agents working in this repository (maplibre/maplibre-agent-skills), following the agents.md convention: one file per repo, at the root.
This repo is a collection of agent skills for MapLibre: markdown files an AI assistant loads as context so it writes correct MapLibre code.
Answering a MapLibre question
Match the user's goal against each skill's front-matter description, which is where a skill declares its own scope. If the skills are installed, you already have that metadata: a skills runtime loads every name and description at startup. If you are working in a clone, read the front matter of skills/*/SKILL.md in one pass rather than opening files one at a time. Skills are written to be read together when a task spans more than one. The human-readable list is Available Skills in the README.
There is deliberately no index of skills in this file. The front matter is the index, and it is the only copy that cannot fall out of step with the skills themselves.
Three habits apply to every MapLibre question, including ones no skill covers:
- Do not carry Mapbox GL JS behavior over by assumption. The two libraries share ancestry and have diverged. Where a skill does not cover the specific API, check the MapLibre Style Specification and the GL JS docs rather than recalling a Mapbox equivalent.
- Prefer a primary source to recall. The style spec, the GL JS docs, and the GL JS CHANGELOG outrank a skill. Use them for the answer you give. awesome-maplibre indexes the ecosystem; the GitHub source, PRs, and CHANGELOG settle version-specific questions. Cite what you used.
- You may draft; a human verifies and submits. MapLibre's AI Policy asks for a human in the loop, not a ban on tools. Draft skill content, evals, and rubrics freely, then leave the pull request and its description to the human who will answer for them in review. See Note on AI usage.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

maplibre-agent-skills AGENTS.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository maplibre/maplibre-agent-skills (155 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 1,218 tokens to every session, about $0.0049 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
