What is coding-skills CLAUDE.md?

A set of instructions for Claude Code in a repository that stores reusable instructions for coding agents. It explains the repository layout and how each skill file should be structured.

Use it when working on the repository's skills, its Claude Code configuration, or the required format of skill files.

It gives the coding agent consistent rules for finding and editing these instructions. It also prevents edits from being made in generated or linked folders.
