Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.02084 | $0.02084 |
| Opus 5 | $0.01042 | $0.01042 |

Grade A, and why
persona-agent AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project
AI persona agents built on Google A2A protocol with FastAPI REST API and MCP tool integration. Personas are defined as YAML/JSON files loaded from examples/personas/.
Commands
# Install dependencies
uv sync
# Lint and format
uv run ruff check .
uv run ruff format .
# CLI commands
uv run persona-agent api # Start API server
uv run persona-agent list-personas # List available personas
uv run persona-agent agent-card # Show A2A agent cards
uv run persona-agent import-persona FILE # Import persona file
Architecture
Four-layer structure under src/persona_agent/:
- api/ — FastAPI routes, models, dependency injection, API-key auth. REST routes prefixed with
/api/v1, A2A routes at/a2a/. - a2a/ — A2A protocol integration:
PersonaAgentExecutor(implementsAgentExecutor),AgentCardbuilder. Each persona is an A2A agent. - llm/ — LLM client abstraction with
OpenAICompatibleClientusing theopenaiSDK directly. Supports any OpenAI-compatible provider. - mcp/ —
DirectMCPManagerusing themcplibrary directly for stdio server lifecycle, tool loading, and execution.
Key Files
api/server.py— FastAPI app factory and lifespan; wires MCP, persona manager, A2A registry, auth dependency, CORS, and exception handlers.api/agent_factory.py—AgentFactory+AgentSession; createsPersonaAgentExecutorinstances and tracks sessions with wall-clock timestamps.api/persona_manager.py—PersonaPydantic model (id pattern^[a-z0-9_-]{1,64}$) andPersonaManagerfilesystem I/O with path-traversal defense.api/auth.py—make_api_key_dependency;secrets.compare_digestin a full allow-list loop. Returns 401 on miss, 503 if auth is enabled with no allowed keys.api/routes/a2a.py—A2ARegistry; each persona is mounted as an independent ASGI sub-app viaA2AFastAPIApplication.build().a2a/executor.py— Core agent logic: sharedchat()entrypoint, per-contextasyncio.Lock, LRU history (200 contexts),MAX_TOOL_ITERATIONS=10.llm/client.py— AbstractLLMClient+OpenAICompatibleClient;from_config()readsdefault_model+model_configs.mcp/direct_mcp.py— Direct MCP stdio management with per-server retries (MAX_RETRIES=3) and${VAR_NAME}env substitution.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
