Foundry IQ Live Knowledge Sources Accelerator is a reusable repository for testing and composing live grounding sources in Azure AI Search, including Search indexes, MCP servers, and Fabric Ontology sources. It guides implementers and evaluators through guarded deployment and evidence checks, while its instruction supports coding-agent work in the repository.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.02138 | $0.02138 |
| Opus 5 | $0.01069 | $0.01069 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00428 | $0.00428 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00214 | $0.00214 |
Grade A, and why
azure-ai-search-foundry-iq-live-knowledge-sources AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 163 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Agent Runbook
This public accelerator demonstrates Foundry IQ composition across Azure AI Search MCP Server and Fabric Ontology Knowledge Sources. Use this file as the operational contract when an agent is asked to inspect, run, deploy, verify, clean up, or modify the repository.
Safe Default
Follow this progression unless the user explicitly requests another profile:
offline -> search-index -> mcp-search-index -> three-source -> mcp-only -> byo-fabric
full is a greenfield demo profile. It creates a billable Fabric F2 capacity and generated Fabric assets, so it requires explicit user intent and --accept-fabric-capacity.
First Commands
From a fresh clone:
./liveks try
./liveks bootstrap
./liveks profiles
./liveks doctor --profile offline --format json
bash scripts/validate-local.sh
On Windows PowerShell, replace ./liveks with ./liveks.ps1 and run .\scripts\validate-local.ps1 for the final gate.
Do not create cloud resources merely because credentials are available. try, doctor, and plan are the inspection path. up, down, and e2e mutate cloud state.
Configuration Authority
config/schema.yamldefines supported fields, validation, azd projection, secrets, and legacy mappings.config/compatibility.yamldefines supported runtime and tool requirements, CI-exercised combinations, API pins, and the documentation command contract.config/scenario-pack-schema.jsonandscenario-packs/*/manifest.jsondefine synthetic replay evidence without redefining deployment topology.profiles/offline.yaml,search-index.yaml,mcp-search-index.yaml,three-source.yaml,mcp-only.yaml,byo-fabric.yaml, andfull.yamldefine executable defaults, resources, cost, and success criteria..liveks/<environment>.yamlis the ignored human-authored ledger..liveks/<environment>.lock.jsonis the ignored redacted resolution and ownership record.azd envis generated deployment state, not the v2 authoring source..env.sampleandenv/*.env.exampleare generated compatibility catalogs for REST/notebook users.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
