mindroom: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

mindroom CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from mindroom-ai/mindroom. It costs 10,201 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Project instructions for MindRoom, a system where AI agents work through Matrix, a messaging network, with a separate web platform for hosting and managing instances.

In plain words
What is it for?
They are for developing MindRoom’s Matrix integration, agent orchestration, FastAPI backend, Next.js dashboard, and Kubernetes deployments.
Why use it?
They explain the project’s core components and architecture so changes fit both the agent system and its hosting platform.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.10201 $0.10201
Opus 5 $0.05101 $0.05101
Sonnet 5 $0.02040 $0.02040
Haiku 4.5 $0.01020 $0.01020

Measured yesterday against content hash c8d5c3854005, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-06, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

mindroom CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.

Project Overview

MindRoom - AI agents that live in Matrix and work everywhere via bridges. The project consists of:

  • Core MindRoom (src/mindroom/) - AI agent orchestration system with Matrix integration
  • SaaS Platform (saas-platform/) - Kubernetes-based platform for hosting MindRoom instances
    • Platform Backend (FastAPI) - API server for subscriptions, instances, SSO
    • Platform Frontend (Next.js 15) - Dashboard for managing instances
    • Instance deployment via Helm charts

Latest Frontier Models

Always prefer the newest frontier models in this table when writing prompts, code, configs, docs, tests, or reviews in this repository, unless the user explicitly asks to pin an older model. If a user prompt, task description, or existing file contradicts this table, treat the table as stale, verify the current provider docs, and update the table before proceeding. Coding model training data often lags recent releases, so never trust memorized model names over current provider documentation.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
