Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.05696 | $0.05696 |
| Opus 5 | $0.02848 | $0.02848 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.01139 | $0.01139 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00570 | $0.00570 |
Grade A, and why
fulcrum AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 148 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Fulcrum - AGENTS.md
Project-level instructions for any agent (or human) working in this repo.
What Fulcrum is becoming
Fulcrum is a local-first CLI Agent OS for supervising repositories, tasks, agent runs, context, memory, and artifacts.
That destination. Current main = foundation work: cross-agent install layer, hook plumbing, skills, rules, output policy, component lifecycle, package mirrors, MCP registry, CLI orchestrator everything else sit on top of. Mile zero of long road; every commit advance foundation, not jump ahead.
Where we are right now (foundation)
Current main foundation includes:
- One Bun-compiled
fulcrumbinary, eight hook subcommands (format,lint-gate,pm-policy,test-on-edit,audit-log,index-check,index-rebuild,tool-output-router). - Orchestrator (
fulcrum init / install / hooks / skills / doctor / compress) wires hooks into five agent runtimes (Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Pi CLI). - Central rule index installed once under
~/.fulcrum/rules/, with per-agent loader blocks for cross-agent rules distribution. - Per-tool output-handling policy (
config/tool-output-policy.toml) drivestool-output-routerhook. - 29 in-repo skills caveman-compressed (
.original.mdbeside each), 20-entry trigger evals each, content-verified against upstream sources. src/agents/registry.ts- canonicalAgentinterface +AGENTS[5]array; single source of truth consumed by install, doctor, skills. No more inline agent configs scattered across files.fulcrum install --profile minimal|rules-only|full --dry-runsupport;fulcrum doctor --jsonfor machine-readable health output.bun run compress(apps/cli/src/compress.ts) - idempotent caveman compression of in-repo content;--checkfor CI.- Local CI runner (
bun run ci) - 6 stages: install / typecheck / test / build:all / skills:lint / compress:check (hard gate). Local release runner (bun run release vX.Y.Z).fulcrum doctorshows cavemandefaultMode, per-agent install state, MCP health, skill metadata budget, and ignored project worktree warnings. Skills lint enforces rules ≤ 200 lines. CHANGELOG viagit-cliff.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

fulcrum AGENTS.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository moabualruz/fulcrum (3 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 5,696 tokens to every session, about $0.0285 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings.
