Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5 | $0.02652 | $0.02652 |
| Opus 5 | $0.01326 | $0.01326 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00530 | $0.00530 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00265 | $0.00265 |
Grade A, and why
fubon-api-mcp-server copilot-instructions.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 141 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Fubon API MCP Server — Copilot Rules (Concise)
This repo wraps the Fubon Securities Python SDK (fubon_neo) into an MCP server. These rules make AI agents productive quickly in this codebase.
Architecture & Key Files
- Monolith server:
fubon_api_mcp_server/server.py(all MCP tools, resources, global state) - Service classes:
trading_service.py,market_data_service.py,account_service.py,reports_service.py,indicators_service.py- each registers MCP tools with the main MCPServer instance - Service responsibilities: Services follow a pattern —
MarketDataServicehandles REST/futopt data parsing and normalization;TradingServiceencapsulates all order operations including condition and time-slice orders;AccountServiceprovides accounting endpoints and PnL queries;ReportsServicesurfaces SDK callbacks into MCP tools. - Config & Utils:
config.py(env vars, data dirs),utils.py(account validation, error handling),enums.py(safe enum conversions) - Globals in server.py:
sdk, accounts, reststock(stock REST),restfutopt(futures/options REST), report lists (latest_order_reports, etc.) - VS Code extension:
vscode-extension/(spawnspython -m fubon_api_mcp_server.server) - Examples:
examples/(demos), Tests:tests/(pytest with fixtures mocking SDK)
MCP Tool Patterns (must follow)
- Decorate with
@mcp.tool(). Validate inputs via Pydantic args classes defined near usage. - Always call
validate_and_get_account(account)(fromutils.py) before trading APIs - reinitializes SDK per call. - Unified response shape:
{"status": "success|error", "data": ..., "message": ...}; add counts when useful. - Error guard for services: if
reststock/restfutoptis None, return"期貨/選擇權行情服務未初始化"(for futopt) or stock equivalent. - API result handling:
- Stock intraday/snapshot/historical: returns plain dict/list from REST client.
- Fut/Opt intraday: returns object with
is_success+.data(e.g.,ticker/quote/candles/volumes/trades). - Fut/Opt
tickers/products: dict with top-level keys (type, exchange, data[]). Parseresult["data"]and normalize keys.
- Pass SDK parameters as keyword args (not dict param). Tests assert
assert_called_once_with(symbol="TX00", session="afterhours")style.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

fubon-api-mcp-server copilot-instructions.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository Mofesto/fubon-api-mcp-server (15 stars, last pushed 18d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 2,652 tokens to every session, about $0.0133 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
