Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.02310 | $0.02310 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00924 | $0.00924 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00462 | $0.00462 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00231 | $0.00231 |
Grade A, and why
claude-pulse CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Makes network callslowCapability
Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.
`jq` is required. `git` and `curl` are optional. There is no build step. Users install by curling the scripts straight from `main` on GitHub (see README), so anything merged to `main` ships to users right away. How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 82 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
CLAUDE.md
This file provides guidance to Claude Code (claude.ai/code) when working with code in this repository.
What this is
claude-pulse is two standalone Bash scripts for Claude Code:
statusline.sh: thestatusLinecommand. Claude Code pipes the session JSON to it on stdin. It prints two lines, plus a thirdagentsline while subagents are listed.subagent-statusline.sh: thesubagentStatusLinecommand. It receives{session_id, columns, cwd, tasks: [...]}on stdin about every 5 seconds while the agent panel lists subagents. It writes one{"id", "content"}JSON line per row, and saves its input for theagentsline.
jq is required. git and curl are optional. There is no build step. Users install by curling the scripts straight from main on GitHub (see README), so anything merged to main ships to users right away.
The stdin schemas are documented at https://code.claude.com/docs/en/statusline (see "Available data" and "Subagent status lines"). Check there before adding or changing fields.
Commands
bash tests/run.sh # all tests; offline, uses a temp HOME and cache
shellcheck statusline.sh subagent-statusline.sh tests/run.sh # lint
bash statusline.sh < tests/fixtures/statusline-full.json # render a fixture by hand
bash subagent-statusline.sh < tests/fixtures/subagents.json
bash docs/make-preview.sh # regenerate docs/preview.svg (needs python3)
tests/run.sh is a list of expect/reject/equal assertions on ANSI-stripped output. Run it with TZ=UTC LC_ALL=C, as it already does. To check a single case, render the fixture by hand or comment out the other assertions; there is no per-test runner. Under GitHub Actions, failures are also printed as ::error annotations, which the public API serves without auth (/repos/moictab/claude-pulse/check-runs/<job id>/annotations), unlike job logs.
CI (.github/workflows/ci.yml) runs on every push. It runs shellcheck, then the tests on:
- ubuntu-22.04 (jq 1.6)
- ubuntu-24.04 (jq 1.7.1, GNU coreutils)
- ubuntu-latest (26.04, Rust uutils coreutils)
- macOS (with
/bin/bash3.2) - Windows (Git Bash)
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

claude-pulse CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository moictab/claude-pulse (2 stars, last pushed 4d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 2,310 tokens to every session, about $0.0092 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-02.
