Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.06566 | $0.06566 |
| Opus 5 | $0.03283 | $0.03283 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.01313 | $0.01313 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00657 | $0.00657 |
Grade A, and why
AGI-Alpha-Agent-v0 AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 472 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Please report security vulnerabilities as described in our [Security Policy](SECURITY.md).
## Prerequisites
- Python 3.11–3.13 (**Python ≥3.11, <3.14**)
- Docker and Docker Compose (Compose ≥2.5)
- Git
- Node.js 22.17.1 for the web client and browser demo. A `.nvmrc` is provided, so run
`nvm use` before installing Node dependencies.
- See [Updating Browser Assets](alpha_factory_v1/scripts/README.md#updating-browser-assets)
for instructions on refreshing the Pyodide runtime used by the Insight Browser demo.
- Keep `package-lock.json` under version control so `npm ci` reproduces the same
dependency tree.
- The project expects `pre-commit` **4.2.0**. CI installs the same version with
`pip install pre-commit==4.2.0`.
- Run `python alpha_factory_v1/scripts/preflight.py` to validate these tools.
- Run `./codex/setup.sh` to install project dependencies and set up the git
hooks. The script attempts to install `pre-commit` automatically. If
`pre-commit` isn't found, run `pip install pre-commit==4.2.0` and re-run the script.
- The first `pre-commit run` may take several minutes as it builds tool environments.
- Install `pytest` and `prometheus_client` using
`python check_env.py --auto-install` or `pip install pytest prometheus_client`.
- Setting `ALPHA_FACTORY_FULL=1` forces `check_env.py` to install heavy extras
even without `--auto-install`.
Confirm installed versions:
```bash
python --vWhat this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
