frontend-production-engineer AGENTS.md

frontend-production-engineer AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from n-shadloo/frontend-production-engineer. It costs 2,036 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A frontend engineering guide for building and reviewing browser applications with Next.js and TypeScript connected to a Django or Django REST Framework backend. Next.js and TypeScript are tools for building typed web interfaces.

In plain words
What is it for?
Planning, implementing, or reviewing the browser-facing part of a Django-backed web application, while leaving backend security and implementation outside its scope.
Why use it?
It organizes frontend work across routing, rendering, components, backend data contracts, and other requirements for a shipped application.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.02036 $0.02036
Opus 5 $0.01018 $0.01018
Sonnet 5 $0.00407 $0.00407
Haiku 4.5 $0.00204 $0.00204

Security

Grade A, and why

frontend-production-engineer AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AGENTS.md

This repository is a frontend engineering skill. Its canonical instructions live in SKILL.md, which routes to the domain files under references/. Any agent working in this repo should load SKILL.md first and then read only the references/*.md file(s) relevant to the task.

Primary integration: Claude (Anthropic Agent Skills). The files below let other agents use the same content; they are pointers, not copies. If anything here disagrees with SKILL.md, SKILL.md wins. The current version is recorded in SKILL.md frontmatter (metadata.version).

What this skill does

Plans, writes, and reviews production Next.js and TypeScript against a Django / Django REST Framework backend. Scope is the browser-facing application. That scope is routing and rendering, the React component tree, and the typed contract with the backend. It also holds the non-functional guarantees a shipped frontend owes its users. The Django backend itself is out of scope. Server-side security defers to the backend's own security review.

Twenty-four domains are integrated across four tiers. The tiers are foundations, backend contract and state, interface craft, and non-functional guarantees. A Tier 0 operating doctrine sits under them, and it is always in effect.

At 1.24.1 the integrated material in references/ is the App Router foundation, the type system, and the React component tree. It also holds the project structure, the DRF contract, and the client cache and state. It holds the session with the gates over it, and the push transport with the events on it. It holds the design system and accessibility — the tokens and the layout, the element and its name, the keyboard, and the measurable criteria.

It holds forms, the dense data surface, media, and motion. That part is the schema and the bind, and the table with the server that drives it. It also holds the file that leaves for a user, and the animation over all of them.

It holds the copy — the words on a control, the message that a failure produces, and the string as data behind a key.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
