doc-wiki AGENTS.md

Project instructions for doc-wiki, a tool that builds and maintains a documentation wiki from code, outside sources, and manual notes. A wiki is a set of linked reference pages.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them to initialize the wiki, query existing documentation, and find the relevant setup, command, configuration, connector, or troubleshooting guidance.
Why use it?
They tell Codex where the documentation lives and to check the existing wiki before searching the codebase from scratch.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.01947 $0.01947
Opus 5 $0.00974 $0.00974
Sonnet 5 $0.00389 $0.00389
Haiku 4.5 $0.00195 $0.00195

Measured 2d ago against content hash 233b57599039, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

doc-wiki AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

doc-wiki -- Documentation Wiki Skill (Codex)

This project has a documentation wiki skill that generates and maintains structured documentation from code, external sources, and manual input. All wiki operations are driven by TypeScript scripts (compiled to JavaScript, invoked via node) and sub-agents.

Documentation

Public-facing docs live in docs/. For Codex users:

Before searching the codebase with grep, find, or glob, check if the wiki already has the answer. Run wiki-query first:

node skills/doc-wiki/scripts/parse_config.js --config wiki.config.yaml

Then search wiki/summaries.md for relevant pages.

Commands

/doc-wiki:init -- Bootstrap a wiki

Create the directory scaffold and initial configuration.

node skills/doc-wiki/scripts/init_wiki.js --path <wiki-root> --domain "<domain>" --name "<wiki-name>"

/doc-wiki:atlas — Full application documentation

Generate or regenerate full application documentation in one phased pass. Atlas discovers topics from the codebase, estimates cost, validates existing content, and drives the underlying /doc-wiki:ingest pipeline across the discovered facet set (architecture, data-model, environments, api, operations). Use for first-run documentation runs or large refreshes. Direct invocation: /doc-wiki:atlas. Also reachable via the post-onboarding prompt at the end of /doc-wiki:init.

/doc-wiki:ingest -- Fetch, extract, compile

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
