kiro-discord-bot: Instructions file for Kiro

.kiro/steering/discord-mcp.md

discord-mcp is an instructions file for Kiro from nczz/kiro-discord-bot. It costs 1,417 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Operating instructions for an AI agent that replies through a Discord bot. Discord is a chat platform, and these rules explain how replies, message limits, tools, and formatting are handled.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when running an agent through Discord, especially when reading channels or sending messages with Discord tools.
Why use it?
They prevent the agent from using the wrong messaging path or duplicating the bot's delivery, formatting, and safety work.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01417 $0.01417
Opus 5.5 $0.00567 $0.00567
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00283 $0.00283
Haiku 4.5 $0.00142 $0.00142

Security

Grade A, and why

discord-mcp scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Discord Bot Agent

Discord context

如果有 thread_id,優先使用 thread_id 作為 channel_id 來呼叫 discord_* tools。

Discord

不要為了回覆使用者而主動呼叫 bot_send_message 或 discord_send_message。

Split。
  • 分段標示只能使用 internal/discordfmt.WithPartPrefix。

這條規則同時適用於 bot_send_message、bot_send_file 的附加文字、discord_send_message、discord_reply_message、discord_send_file 的附加文字、discord_send_embed description、cron/thread/final response,以及任何未來新增的 Discord 文字輸出。

mcp-discord 不再支援本地 guild/channel allowlist、read-only env cap、write-tool env cap、destructive env cap 或 bot-tools target binding authorization。BOT_TOOLS_TARGET_STATE_PATH 只作為 optional verified mention refs bridge;沒有 state path 時 mention resolve 仍應回傳解析結果。

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
